Battle of Midway
Marcuss' POW:
Two week since defeat at Pearl Harbor. I planing another big assault. An assault on Midway, another important Eagle Union base. I think we can lure them into the trap. And this time everything will going well. Midway is close to us.
Now I correcting every part of my plan about the attack. I still waiting the reports from our submarines. I sent six submarine, U-556, I-13, I-168, I-19, I-56 and I-58 to scout their positions.
"Commander." I heard somebody said this.
I looked up and I saw Yamashiro watching me from the door.
"The submarines returned and here is their reports." She said.
"Thank you Yamashiro." I said and I gave her a headpet. She blush again.
"C-commander, my head is really sensitive." Yamashiro said.
"Hahaha. Sorry." I said. "Thank you. You can leave."
"Alright, have a good day." She said and she left me.
I looked at their reports. Azur Lane placed a little task force at Midway atoll. Three destroyers, one light cruiser and one light carrier. We can easily capture them. My plan is nothing like was my plan at Pearl harbor. Our massive attack force will arrive at the same time and we will launch a massive bombing raid. All six Sakura carrier will be there. I hope Zuikaku and Shoukaku will return in safe from South, where they launched a surprise attack at Royal Navy base at Australia. We need all of them. I heard a knock.
"Free to enter." I said.
"I'm sorry, Commander, nya." I heard.
"Ah, Akashi. What can I do for you?" I asked her.
"Shoukaku and Zuikaku returned from their mission, nya." She said. "But I have some bad news, nya."
"What is it?" I asked.
"They got heavy damage, nya." She said. "They need long time to be repaired, nya."
"This is bad." I said. "Thank you, Akashi."
"It's nothing, nya." Akashi said and left the room.
Great, now I have to change my plan. Now I have only 5 aircraft carrier and 1 decked cruiser. If we want to win this battle we need to do it well.
After thinking I created our battle groups.
Main fleet: Akagi, Kaga, Hiryuu, Souryuu, Taihou, Hindenburg, Bismarck, Hiei, Haruna, Yamashiro, Izumo, Prinz Eugen, Mogami, Takao, Atago, Köln, Mainz, Agano, Nagara, Abukuma, Z-23, Yuudachi, Fubuki, Harutsuki and Hibiki
Escort fleet: Houshou, Ryuujou, Hyuuga, Mikuma, Admiral Graf Spee and Akatsuki.
I collect enough ship to defeat the Azur lane base at Midway. I think this is our last chance to make a heavy damage to Azur lane. As I thinking somebody knocked on my door.
"Free to enter." I said.
Nagato walked inside.
"Ah, Lady Nagato. What can I do for you?" I asked.
"Yes, I wanted to know if you can come to my home for dinner someday?" Nagato asked.
"Yes, of course, but only after we finished our mission at Midway." I answered.
"Alright. I will be waiting for your return." Nagato said and left me alone.
'She fall in love with me?' I thought.
Next day:
The time finally become. Our fleet was on the road to Midway-atoll. I hoped after this operation the Azur Lane will make a peace between us. My beloved Ironblood is got too much hurt already. Sakura Empire and Sardegna Empire are different then us. Bismarck is next to me and we heading forward into our next battle. We know we will arrive to Midway in minutes. Our submarine scouts are went forward to see everything is going well.
