"For the last time Jackson... no!" I snapped at him as we walked into the gym behind the other students and coach,

"What do you mean, no?" Jackson asked dramatically beside me in low voice,

"No, how many times do I have to say it, before you understand," I said through gritted teeth, Jackson and I stood at the back of the group as coach began to instruct us about the wall climbing exercise,

"Why not?" He asked almost in a whiny voice,

"Because during our freshman year, you assaulted me at your house, then tried to do it again at Lydia's... be lucky I didn't call the sheriff the first time, but if you don't stop bothering me... I will end you, myself," I said in a whisper as the first set of students started to climb,

"Do you want me to apologise?" He asked shaking his head impatiently,

"I want you to leave me alone," I answered him softly, I sighed before turning my attention, back to the class,

"Look I made a mistake, I get that, and I won't do it again, but I need you with me..." Jackson said softly taking a step closer to me so no one else could hear, I glanced at Scott but he was too busy talking and staring at Allison to notice,

"What you need is professional help..." I trailed off, he kept staring at me with defeated eyes but I refused to let him get sympathy from me, "you're more confused than a catholic school boy, at the peak of puberty, in bible camp!"

"Sometimes I forget how much you remind me of Lydia... but you don't get it, I'm rich, loaded, I drive one of the best cars in the country, I'm going get a full ride into any college I want, be an athletic champion, I have and will have everything... so why won't you say yes?" Jackson snapped at me, I rolled my eyes and looked over at him, smelling the frustration on him,

"All that glitters isn't gold Jackson... you could have all the money in the world, but it won't buy you love... and it won't buy me..." I said to him softly, I kept my face stoic to show my seriousness and Jackson stepped back after looking me in the eyes,

"Whittemore! Prince! You're up next!" Coach shouted to us, I moved forward to the mat with Jackson coming up on my right,

We got in the harness and waited for coach to blow the whistle. He didn't and I flinched at noise but started to climb, swiftly passing Jackson making my way to the top.

"How are you so fast?" Jackson asked finally reaching the top next to me, I looked over at him with a smirk,

"Some people are just born naturally gifted," I said to him, but before he could say anything I released the wall and slid back down to the mat,
