Angie's POV

I wake up and rush downstairs and notice that Alex isn't in the house. I sit at the table and silently eat my breakfast nervously.

"I'm going on a walk to clear my mind" Philip says before getting up and leaving the house.

"When will we know when it's over" I ask

"When they come back home and the second informs us what's happened" My dad answers

Philip's POV

I walk for what feels like hours but I check my watch and it's only been 30 minutes. I see Alex's friend John running toward me with a worried look on his face.

"John?"

"Yes Philip you need to go to the hospital now"

"What happened" I say freaking out

"He got shot inbetween the ribs HURRY NOW I'M GOING TO INFORM THE REST OF YOUR FAMILY"

I push past him and rush to the hospital. I kick open the door and the doctor rushes to me.

"Mr.Hamilton please"

"IS MY BROTHER GOING TO MAKE IT!!?"

"He has lost a lot of blood I doubt it but you may see him hurry follow me"

We rush into the third room and see him laying on a bed. He is holding his wound and there is blood all over his shirt and arms.

"ALEXANDER" I yell rushing to his side

"He-Hey Philip"

I tears start rolling from my eyes

"I'm so sorry this should've been me I'm-"

"Philip it's ok I'm going to be fine"

I break down poor thing thinks he's going to live.

"The doctor says your not going to make it"

He looks shocked and freaked out.

"Well Philip...what are you waiting for?" He asks

"What what do you mean?" I can hardly speak through my sobs

"You love her ask her I'll be right by your side" He says closing his eyes

The door slams open and My mom dad and Angie rush in along with John.

"Sir his gun was jammed he couldn't shoot it"

"NO YOU'VE SHOULD'VE CHECKED IT" My father yells

My mom pushes me to the side and my dad gets to the other side.

Angie is just standing there I tears I rush over to her and she starts bawling in my shirt.

"Mom Dad I love you" He says

"Son I'm so sorry" My dad says sobbing

My mother kisses him on his forehead.

I walk over to him and my dad scoots by and Angie goes to the other side.

"Angie I love you so much you were my bestie I lo-" His heartbeat goes slower and I grab his hand

"Philip"

"Shh it's ok"

"I'm afraid" He says

I put my hand on his chest and kiss his forehead.

"Just let go it's ok you can let go"

He smiles and his I feel his heartbeat stop and I break down.

"NO!" I hear my mom scream

My dad goes over to hug her while she's bawling

The doctor walks in

"I'm so sorry for your loss" The doctor says with tears in his eyes

I walk over to Angie and Hug her she just stands there sobbing.

Theo's POV
Next day
I am sitting at the table waiting for my dad to come back from the door. He is reading a letter and looks shocked and sad at the same time.

"What is it dad?"

Tears start to come down his eyes as he begins to read the letter.

Dear Aaron Burr

I am sad to say that Our son Alexander Jr. Hamilton has been shot and killed in a duel. He died right here in a hospital at 2 p.m. on September 27th. You are invited to the funeral which will be held next Thursday at the downtown church. Thank you for all your love and support.

Tears started rolling down my eyes. I can't believe it. I ran and gave my dad a hug.

"I don't think Hamilton will be at work these next couple of days." He says sobbing

"Hey he is in a better place now at least he is with his Aunt and Grandparents" I say trying to cheer him up

He looked kind of shocked for some reason.

"Ok well I need to buy a new suit I'll be back later" He says walking out

I decided to take a walk and I surprisingly saw Philip, Angie and their little brother James at the flower shop.

"So we won't see Alex anymore?" He asks sounding confused

"No I'm sorry we won't see him for a long time" Philip says trying to explain to him

I walk up to them and they both notice me. We all just stand there in silence while I look up at both of them cause they are taller than me. I pull them all into a hug and Angie starts crying again.

"I'm so sorry" I whisper

"I still can't get used to the fact that he is gone" Angie mumbles

"Hi who are you?" James says while waving

"Oh I'm Theodosia" I say bending down to his level

Philip just stands there staring at us. I hug him tightly and he hugs me back.

"It's ok you can cry"

He breaks down crying and Angie takes James away.

"He's with your Granparents and Aunt" I say smiling

"Yeah" He says sniffling

I kiss him then I pick out some roses and leave.
