Krishna, look it's raining!

The sky has turned grey just like your complexion and the earth has once again regained its beauty which was lost under the scorching sun.
The distinct green hills aren't clearly visible due to the heavy shower,
The road is filled with little puddles
Waiting for little kids to put their feet in.

Did you see those children feeling the drops on their soft bodies?

You are looking at me intently
As I gaze at the scene in front of me.
Taking in your beautiful form,
Aren't you a sight for sore eyes?
You bring your hand forward for a dance, smiling sweetly at me.

Oh my delicate heart!

I look at your lotus feet,
Your right foot crossed over the left and your flute is ready to play its melodious tune.

You're raising an eyebrow,
Challenging to resist your charm before I give in and sway to your flute.

You know I won't be able to resist the tune of the flute.

And there go the notes of music,
Certainly better than every piece of music I have heard.
The melody of your flute has attracted  even the birds and the trees.
It looks like as if the prakriti too wants to dance her heart out.

Who's stopping me now?

I put my right foot out and slowly the left and then my entire body.
My heart is beating fast, the tune shuts my senses and the only thing that matters is
You.

I don't know what choreography I am performing but I don't care now.
I feel my skirts twirl with every beat,
And there's a mad rush in my heart.
I am matching my footwork with yours, the pace has increased.

I never knew I could dance at a fast pace!

The rain has slowed down and soon
It will depart for the skies.
The sky has turned clear and the hills are visible now.
The clouds are moving now to a new destination and atmosphere is filled with petrichor.

The tune has started to fade
And the moments have turned slow
Which shall now cease.
It's time to go isn't it?
I shall now leave the terrace or Ma will scold me telling that I am lazy.

Kanha! I shall wait for the next shower on the terrace and get a good outfit too. Get some flowers to adorn my hair please!

Hello people! Okay so originally I had planned to just write 2 stanzas but then... you know what is this.

Anyways I seriously love this one because
1. It was raining heavily today
2. I wanted to cheer my mood so writing to Krishna is the best way to deal with shit.

May Kanha bless you all.
-- Smile, spread love and be kind
