Landed in an unknown forest
Covered in mist.
The creepers coiled around the trees,
Wild flowers gave their scent away
While the leaves whispered to each other. Was this a magical forest?
Curious, I walked when I stumbled into him.
Gigantic in stature enough to scare people
Yet I wasn't afraid.
Dressed in robes of another time,
I looked at mine.
It was the same.Had I landed in another time line?
Long hair, soft eyes and serene expression.
I chose to walk with the stranger.
Once again comfort engulfs me
And a familiarity strikes in.Have I known him before.
The mist still dense gave way to the front.
Perhaps it wanted us to unravel secrets.
No words exchanged we walked
When I found myself later in a town."The most charming man ever!"
"If only I could be his!"
They were talking about the stranger.
He was known in the town for his beauty.
Then why didn't I see it?
I walked ahead as the voices faded by.Was there something I had to see?
Landed back again in the forest.
This time, a lady appeared claiming to be his sister.
She talked about him.
Did I want to know?Alas! I don't remember what she said.
And for a second I saw his face
In the clouding mist.
The forest had begun to blur
And she too disappeared.
The gentle rays of the sun
Coaxed me to wake up
As I spent one last gaze at him.Who was he?
Nothing but a dream. Strange things happen when it's full moon.
