My earthly companion-
The Hill!
It loves to drape itself in various shades.
Early morning it's dark black,
With the sun it appears a light brown
And with the clouds, a dark green.

Holding numerous secrets
It  presents itself in front of me,
Asking to go on a quest.
I never hide anything from it,
Not a single thing.
Yet it hides.
Hides under the clouds,
Hiding mysteries and thoughts.

My earthly companion has seen me-
The true me!
The person no one has ever seen
And perhaps shall never see.
It has seen me dance in joy
And had been witness to my tears.
It has understood my thoughts,
The thoughts I am too afraid to present.

The Hill so green and clear,
Why does it now hide again
With the veil of clouds?

And Krishna, you shall be my
Eternal Friend.

Also does someone know about a one footed goat? Like it's symbolism or something?

The hills you see above are the ones in Sambalpur near my home. There are more hills which are closer to a dam (not Hirakud), but I didn't get to click pictures of that.

The ones below are from another district Dhenkanal (my mum's native place)
