Jimin took off her headphones as Jungmo took the seat beside her in the study area.

"Can I help you?" Jimin asked. Jungmo nodded, opening up his textbook and passing it to her. Jimin gulped as saw the picture of the Devil inside.

"I don't get it. How do demons just appear?" Jungmo asked.

Jimin sighed. She was originally waiting for Jisung but he was busy training with Chenle and promised that he would join her any second now. If she didn't have an upcoming quiz in Winwin's class that week, Jimin would have refused to answer the question, but she pitied Jungmo.

"They just do, Jungmo. That's their weakness. They have strong powers but they have absolutely no memory of their lives before." Jimin explained.

"That doesn't even make sense." Jungmo argued.

"It's not supposed to." A low voice said as Jimin felt an arm on her shoulder. She looked up to see Jisung standing there, wearing his track suit, backpack slung over his shoulder.

Jisung gave her a small smile before sitting down on the other side of her. "Quiz?"

Jimin nodded. Jungmo gave Jisung one glance before turning back to the girl.

"So demons are supernatural creatures that died unfairly and then given life again but in return, they don't remember anything from their previous life?" Jungmo asked.

"Precisely." Jimin answered as she heard Jisung open a snack beside her.

"Want?" Jisung asked, passing her the open bag. Jimin nodded.

Seeing how preoccupied Jimin was with Jisung, Jungmo decided to pack up his stuff, leaving the two alone.

...

Renjun stared at the leather bound book in his hands. There was an uneasy feeling inside him as he held it.

After the Devil's words, she had sent them back to their world but Rena and Jaehyun had been awfully quiet since. The two had left to their own rooms, leaving the rest of them.

Jaemin had decided to go check on his girlfriend so only Renjun and Minjee remained in front of the agency building. Renjun felt the girl give him a small poke in the arm.

"What we need is in there, right?" Minjee asked after Renjun glanced at him. Renjun nodded.

"We should probably give this to Taeyong now." Renjun said, putting his hands down.

"Yeah, we should." Minjee said, shifting her weight between her feet.

"Is something wrong?" Renjun asked. Minjee quickly shook her head.

"No, I just wanted to say... thanks." Minjee said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Renjun bit the inside of his cheek to prevent himself from smiling.

"For what?" Renjun asked.

"For helping me when we in Hell." Renjun couldn't hold back the smile anymore.

"Hell's a scary place, I don't blame you for being nervous." Renjun told her.

"Yeah, I don't know how you went through that alone. I really respect you for that." Minjee said, playing with her fingers.

"Thanks." Renjun said, just as Xiaojun walked out of the agency building with Yuri. They glanced at the two of them for a second before walking away.

Awkward.

"Well, we should get this to Taeyong." Renjun said, waving the book.

"Yeah, let's go." Minjee said, quickly walking into the building.
