Chapter 7

I wake up by the sun that was picking through the thin fabric of the hotel's curtains. But I keep my eyes closed and I take a deep breath. I realize that my good cheek is laying against something hard that is coming up and down slightly. I open my eyes confused and I sit up straight. I quickly realize that I was laying on Jensen's chest. We were still on the couch, fully clothed, thank God I didn't embarrassed myself more.

We probably fell asleep at some point during the movie. That moment Jensen opened his eyes too "Good morning" he says rubbing his eyes and messing his hair a bit. It was really cute.
"Good morning" I say
"Don't apologize for sleeping on me because I'm sure you were ready to" he says and I chuckle. The truth is that he is right.
"I'll go use the bathroom" I say
"Go ahead" he says and smiles. I smile too and I get up. I go to the bathroom and I lock the door. I lay my back against the door and I close my eyes. I take a deep breath trying to realize what happened.

I open my eyes and my eyes fall immediately on the mirror. My cheek looks bruised but not really swollen which is the best thing that could happen right now. I hear my ringtone from outside
"(Y/N), your mom is calling" Jensen says. I come out of the bathroom and he hands me my phone
"Thanks" I say. He goes in the bathroom and I answer my phone.

"Hi mom" I say
"Hi baby. How are you?" she asks
"Good... Mostly" I say
"Your dad and I came by your house but no one is answering the door. I thought you'd be home for the weekend" she says
"Yeah, but the plan changed. Actually many things happened in the last 24 hours. Matt and I are over--" I say
"Really?" she asks
"Yes and I know what you're gonna say--"
"I told you a long time ago to end this (Y/N). He isn't good for you. I'm glad that you finally saw that too" she says for one more time
"I know. I am too" I say "He is also in jail because he literally attacked me after I caught him cheating on me"
"He what?" she yells in my ear
"I'm fine. Nothing a couple of sutures couldn't fix" I say
"Where are you? Are you alone?"
"I'm in Dallas and no, I'm not alone right now. Don't worry, I'm fine mom. I'm gonna call you later, ok? I gotta go now" I say
"Ok baby. Be careful" she says
"I will. Bye" I say and I hung up.

Jensen comes out of the bathroom "Should I order breakfast?" he asks
"No, I'm gonna grab something on my way home?" I say
"On your way home? Are you leaving?" he asks
"Yes. I want to go home and throw everything of his away. Because they are not even his. He bought everything with my money. And I am that stupid that I let him" I say pissed
"Ok, ok, calm down. Look, tomorrow I have the day off so how about you stay today, think about it and then we leave together so I can help you?" he asks
"No, you don't have to"
"I want to. I don't have anything else to do anyways"
"But I'm working tomorrow" I say
"Then you'll tell me what you need me to do and I'll do it while you are at work" he says.

"Why do you want to help me so much?" I ask him
"I don't know. I guess I realized that I need to keep a good relationship with at least one doctor and what's better than an almost plastic so I can have someone to start fixing me in a few years" he says pointing at his face and I chuckle.
"Fair enough" I say and he chuckles.

"By the way, in case you lose me today and you need someone, here is my number" he says handing me one of his cards
"And in case you need me..." I say while typing his number in my phone and I call him. "... here is my number" I say
"Great" he says. I walk to the door "See you later" he says
"See you later" I say and I walk back to my room. I fall on the bed immediately and I let a big breath out.
