HEY IS EVERYTHING OKAY? I say to my boyfriend sitting down next to him
"Yeah, um I just have a lot on my mind" he replies and I put a hand on his leg, which he pushes off standing up wrapping his arms around his head.
"Oh, is there anything you want to talk about?" I ask
"Yeah, but..." He says trailing off
"Jax, it's me, you can tell me anything," I say to him and I turn him, my heart sinking when I see his face, his eyes filled with sorrow
"You know I love you right Vic, and we have been through a lot" he starts off
"Yeah, what that does that have to do with anything"
"I don't know, I just, I don't know... I'm starting college in 2 weeks and I want to be... you're an amazing girl and all, it's me, but"
"But what you don't love me enough, you're doing the it's not you but me thing, really Jax, why can't you tell the truth"
"I'm so sorry Vic, I just"
"Say it, Jax, just say it"
"I, I..."
"You have nothing to say, that's right isn't it," I say, turning around walking away, hoping for him to call out to me, asking me to stop. But he doesn't, so I keep walking, tears streaming down my face.
