Chapter 16

I sobbed in his arms for what felt like hours when I finally calmed down I had such a headache, and my eyes burned, but Chan didn't complain about having to hold me or so long

his arms were wrapped around me still as I looked into his eyes with my dried ones. he searched my face for something, I think he finally found it cause he started speaking, and the words that came out of his mouth were shocking

"I promise, when this whole saving the world thing is done I'm making you my wife" my eyes widened at that statement, he giggled before adding to it "that's only if you agree" I  looked into his eyes to only find that he was serious and I could only see love and compassion

"I can't find a reason to say no," I said softly and his eyes lit up with happiness as he leaned in and placed a kiss on my lips.

I felt something cold like metal being slid on my figure, I thought it was a ring, but I remember we've only been dating for like 3 weeks, how does he have a ring?

we separated and I looked at my finger only to see exactly what I thought it was

"how do you already have a ring?" I asked and he smiled "I saw it walking through a town a few days ago and it made me think of you, I planned on waiting a while longer, but I don't know what way this saving the world project is going to go... who knows, maybe I won't even make it out alive," he said and I got sad and a bit angry

"don't you dare say that!! I'll be with you! there is no way I'm letting you die on me!" he smiled at that before pulling me closer.

Just as I was drying my tears there was a lock on the door, I walked to the door and opened it with shaky hands. only to see a boy, he looked 17 but more importantly, he was scared, he was shaking more then I was...

"Hey! is everything okay?" I asked the boy and he shook his head, he looked down the hallway, but not in an obvious way. I took the hint and stepped out, I patted his clothed shoulder as if comforting him, and I stole a glance down the hallway only to see a middle-aged man stared this poor boy down.

I took the hint he gave and told him to come inside. once he was inside and sat on a chair in the corner, me and Chan sat on the edge of one of the beds facing the poor boy, he relaxed.

"Thank goodness, that creep has been following me for 3 blocks, I tried losing him but he just wouldn't give" he looked completely relaxed like it never happened. 

"I'm Jeongin by the way!" he said reaching out a hand to me and Chan. "I'm Y/n, and this is my fiancee, Chan!" I said as Chan shook his hand and I kindly refused 

"are you like a germaphobe or something?" he asked with a raised eyebrow as he sat back down in his chair. "No, I have my reasons" I spoke and he nodded contently "I can respect that"

just then the door opened and everyone else came in

"Hey! is everything okay? we saw a shady looking guy outside, just starring at the door" Seungmin exclaimed walking towards me. he wrapped his arms around me in a hug and I hugged back 

"yeah we're fine, just found this boy-" before I could finish I was cut off by yelling coming from Jisung.

"JEONGIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!" 

next thing I know Jisung is suffocating Jeongin and he's trying to escape but with no luck.

I laugh at the scene in front of me, but at the same time I still wonder how they know each other. just as I was thinking that Jisung answered my question 

"Guys, I'd like you to meet Jeongin, he's the youngest of the immortals," Jisung said as if its the most normal thing "Wait!! you're immortal?!?!" I asked standing up. he nodded cautiously. I walked up to him,  I grabbed his hand and it's true, there was nothing.

"I didn't expect you to just show up on our doorstep," I laughed nervously "I'm Y/n, Y/n Ryu, the rightful owner of the MR company," I said, that's when I heard a few gasps behind me. I released his hand before I continued. "and I'm the ninth immortal. I can see how people die" I said and he looked so shocked and he wasn't the only one. suddenly I hear someone shouting behind me

"I TOLD YOU!!!" It was Seungmin obviously, I just laugh at him as he rubs it in everyone's face that he was right the entire time. Chan came up and grabbed my hand and looked at everyone. "And while we're revealing things, me and Y/n are engaged" He spoke so calmly but so happy. it put me at ease 

I enjoyed the smiles that flooded the room, all the happy memories I refuse to forget. I can't wait for all this saving the world stuff is over and we can finally be normal

who knows what ways it's going to go...

during our talking, we found out Jisung has the power of speed 

Jeongin can read minds. which will come in handy in the future. 

as we continued to share memories of the funny and sad story's from when we were on our own, there was a little voice in the back of my head that I tried so hard to ignore, but for some reason, I couldn't help but to believe it and let the doubt sink in, and let the questions flood my mind as I listen to the jokes and laughs

this won't last long
