Ok um I just wanted to say hi and clear up a few things for this book. In this, Laura is merely a friend of Clint's. He is not married and just purely for the sake of this because I'm not even a teenager and have no idea how adults think, all the Avengers are in their twenties and thirties. Except of course Cap and Bucky. But they have an excuse. Disclaimer: all credit to Marvel and Stan Lee. I only own the timeline. Also note, this prologue is basically you and Clint in high school. Ok talk to y'all later.

You closed your locker, grabbed your backpack off the floor, and headed to the gym. When you got there you set your bag down and grabbed a bow and some arrows out of the closet. You smiled when you saw Clint's quiver of tripped out arrows. You walked to the target and made sure that it was straight and then backed away and took aim. You fired and the arrow embedded itself in the blue area of the target. You also hissed in pain. 'Dang it, I forgot the armguard'

"You need some help Y/N?" You turned and your eyes lit up seeing your favorite marksman, Clint Barton.

"Might be useful" you grinned and he walked over, positioning your body at the perfect angle. Your skin seemed to heat up whenever he touched you. He grinned and knocked an arrow in your bow so that you didn't have to get out of the pose. You drew back the bowstring on his mark.

"Fire!" It hit the bullseye and you grinned.

"Thanks for the help."

"Anytime. I'm gonna have to up my game if you keep shooting like that!" He exclaimed.

You grinned and fired a few more arrows before packing up. As you walked towards the gym door, Clint slung his arm over your shoulder and pulled you against him. You felt a peck on your cheek and you froze.

"Clinton Francis Barton!" You yelled. He had disappeared. You shook your head, smiled, and laughed. Your fingertips brushed against your cheek. 'I love that idiot.'
