"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I asked. Turning my head on him.

We both stopped walking.

"Uh... walking?" he said— unsure.

I let out a sigh— feeling so suddenly tired of his presence.

"Why did you follow me here?"

He only looked at me as if I accused him of something he had no idea about.

"I didn't,"

"Oh, really? Then explain why you're going the same way as I am?" I rose a brow. Crossing my arms.

He licked his lips seeing my posture. I noticed he loves to openly check me out. He's really a f*cking pervert and he's not even shy about it.

How much I hate him.

He is such an ill-mannered guy. He hadn't even said sorry to me yet and now he's starting on me again. How dare he.

"I actually just wanna go check the lanai, it happens it's on the same way." he shrugged his shoulders.

I knnited my eyebrows, looking at the lanai meters away from the stairs.

I rolled my eyes looking back at him. I decided to just let it pass.

I turned my back on him and continued to walk again.

I felt his presence behind which I just ignored. All I wanna do as of this moment is to just really get away from this very imprudent man.

I made my way to the stairs— carefully stepping on each levels.

I didn't bother looking back— not until I heard his voice. I got frozen on track. My feet automatically stopped from climbing.

I rotated my body— I saw him downstairs. Looking up at me.

My brows knitted in confusion. Was I hallucinating?

"What did you say?"

He smiled— showing his beautiful set of teeth. I didn't know he have a gummy smile.

"I'm sorry," he apologized sincerely.

I hitched a breathe. My heartbeats leap.

I couldn't believe it. He apologized.
