We are now here at the small village where I usually order my squad to do a patrol during the night just to make sure that the terrorists won't come here and sabotage the area.

"Let's park it here," I said to Wendy who's driving the truck. We then hop off the vehicle and I walks towards the children who just gathered around after they saw us entering the area.

"Ar vis dar prisimeni mane? (Do you still remember me?)" I used their language as I speak to them. I learned to speak Lithuanian when I'm still a Sergeant, that's why it helps me a lot to speak to them comfortably.

"Ogi! (Yes!) they answered at the same time while smiling widely at me.

"Gerai (Good)" I smiled back at them and I heard footsteps behind me as the medical team come to view.

They all look at the children who have this curious expression on their faces, so they gave them a warm smile that helps them to feel at ease.

"Everyone, these are the doctors who are going to check on you today," nor I speak the language that everyone can understand.

"I know it's not the first that someone visited your village so you just have to trust these people here to help you, okay?" I ask them and they all nodded with a loud yes.

We all smiled at them before I look at the doctors behind me.

"You can start now, just call me if you need something. Dang-yeol." I salute them and the medical team starts to do their work.

I then head towards Seulgi who's talking to a villager. So I stand a few meters away as I wait for them to finish their conversation before I can talk to Seulgi.

"Captain," Seulgi said beside me and I didn't know that she's done talking to that man and was already standing here beside me.

"You can head out first, I'll handle this now," I said to her and she smiled thankfully with a small nod.

"Thank you, Captain, I'll see you when you come back to the quarters, Dang-yeol." she salutes and I salute her back.

Seulgi then walks towards the car where another soldier was waiting for her. When she was out of sight, I then scan the area of the village.

Their houses are just made of tents with stick stands, the volunteers last year had proposed a project where they can build them a house to live comfortably, but unfortunately, something happened that destroyed it.

There's a war outbreak that causes many lives to suffer. Innocent people have died because of that war and soldiers from different regions also came to help us here but not without losing someone.

That's why we are trying our best to avoid any dangerous happenings that might occur, it is because we can't risk loosing someone again.

....

An hour had passed, and the check-up comes to an end. We are now packing our things to call it a day.

The medical team is busy loading the truck with their things with the help of the soldiers. I then talk to the village leader to tell him that we will come back here anytime, which he was thankful for.

I then salute him before I walk towards the waiting truck. The medical team are starting to settle in their seats. I saw Jennie waiting for them to settle down, so I stop walking and look at them to make sure everything's fine.

Jennie then noticed me from where I'm standing, so I look at her, and we locked our gaze. Not long enough, she then averted her gaze back to her team, and the other doctors help her step on the truck.
