Midorima Shintaro x Reader

Midorima and (Last Name) are classmates, as well as Takao. At first, it was only Kazunari who was close with (First Name). As the time went by, (First Name) started to accompany the point-shooting guard duo. Sometimes, it would just be Kazunari talking to her. Sometimes, Shintaro would talk as well, but inly about Oha Asa or basketball. But at least, he started to also warm up with (First Name).

"Shin-chan, do you like (First Name)-chan?" Takao teasingly asked the tsundere.

"W-what nonsense are you talking about, Bakao?! I don't l-like her, nodayo!" A faint blush appeared on Midorima's cheeks as he averted his eyes to another direction, only for his gaze to land on (First Name)'s direction. His gaze focused on (First Name), as the latter laughed at their classmate's joke.

Takao smiled as he looked at the green-haired shooting guard. He was genuinely happy that someone could finally move Midorima's heart and catch his interest.

"So you indeed like her, Shin-chan!" He exclaimed, his voice a little loud causing their classmates, (Last Name) as well, to look at their direction.

"Oh? Shintaro-kun likes someone? Why am I not aware of this?" (First Name) smiled, walking her way towards the point-shooting guard duo.

"Well (First Name)-chan, you wouldn't be aware of it because it's-" before Takao could finish what he was saying, Midorima quickly and efficiently covered the point guard's mouth with his hands. Seeing this, (First Name) lightly raised her eyebrows in interest. What are these two hiding from her?

"Don't believe everything that this Bakao says, nanodayo!" Midorima exclaimed, pushing his glasses upwards while glaring at Takao in the process. He, then, removed his hands off the latter's mouth. Seeing the warning glare from Midorima, Takao finally laughed it off.

"Just kidding, (First Name)-chan. Do you really think someone like Shin-chan would like a girl?" Takao jokingly said as he chuckled.

"It would be a miracle." (First Name) giggled.

However, it looks like miracle indeed happens once in a while, just like the Generation of Miracles. Midorima, surprisingly (and with much effort) confessed to (First Name) after Shuutoku's match against Seirin in Interhigh.

"You.. you really like me?" Disbelief, excitement, and happiness were displayed in (First Name)'s flushed face. She can't believe that this megane-wearing tsundere would actually like her. She was also excited and happy, because she has been in love with Midorima for a long time now.

"I don't want to repeat myself, nanodayo." Midorima nonchalantly said, as if he didn't confessed to her in the first place.

"I love you, too, Shintaro." (First Name) said, smiling at Midorima. The latter froze for a second, stole a brief butterfly kiss from her, smiling for no longer than 2 second and left. (First Name) couldn't help but shake her head helplessly as Midorima's actions left her dumbfounded.

Six months after they started dating was as if they aren't dating at all in actuality. Aside from the fact that (First Name) and Midorima gradually became closer, and that they would hangout a few times even without Takao, everything seems like they were still just friends.

Their 'dates' could be counted with two fingers, and they only kissed a couple of times with so many failed attempts from (First Name). Sometimes, when she asked Midorima for a date, the green-haired would first consider whether his luck on that day would be good or bad. If his luck that day was bad or worst, he would not only reject (First Name) but would also be afraid of coming out of the house even if he had his lucky item. Of course, after being rejected a lot of times, it has become (First Name)'s habit to also check Oha Asa before asking Shintaro to go out with her. Kazunari could only shake her head as he saw (First Name) being 'infected' with the tsundere's Oha Asa addiction.
