i can't help but smile but it unfortunately doesn't last long. what if it's awkward?? as im nervously messing with my hair, yogurt rubs up against my arm and looks up at at me. suddenly, im filled with relief.

i look at the time once more and realize while i were busy gushing over a guy i completely forgot existed until now, 2 hours has passed.
hm...i probably have a few hours to stream before bed.. i think to myself. but instead of the usual slime rancher or overwatch, i get up and download minecraft.
minecraft is all updated, i let everyone on twitter know i'll be live soon, im all ready. but right as i go to hit the "go live" button i get a request from discord.
it's dream.
i quickly accept and almost immediately he calls.
" ooooh! what's the occasion? " i can almost hear him smiling.
well, i was about to go live before your dumbass decided to call me. i raise my eyebrows and smile.
" what r u playing? "
"minecraft~"
"ahhh. did i inspire you~?" he says in a baby voice
i chuckle and feel your face go warm. "shut uppp!"
he laughs " heh, but fr tho can i join? "
"yea, of course."

[ dream ] joined the game

"PISSBABYYY!!!" i run towards him and start shifting on him

" WOAHHHHH WOAHH" he starts wheezing "THE HEL-" he walks backwards and continues to deflate and of course, i do too.
in the middle of laughing, i realize i never actually started streaming. amazing. i exit out of minecraft. there's always tomorrow

" YOURE SO STUPID-" he says threw a wheeze

"SHHHHHHH-"

it goes silent for a bit. i go on my phone and all of a sudden there's soft whispers.
"tell them i said hi!!!" i say
"OH- IM SORRY!!- i thought i muted-" he says, slightly panicked.
"what we're you talking about?" i say, curious. i know i shouldn't be nosey but i have a good reason this time.
he chuckles. " NOTHING!! "
i smile. "mhmm."
he chuckles to himself.
"DRE!"
"yeah?"
"i'm gonna give you my number so we can ft & play imessage games, k?"
"duuuudee:( nooo. i JUST got out of bed. i've been editing ALL day."
"i don't careee! just lemme see that cute face~ " i say jokingly as i scrunch my nose.
he sighs and again, i can hear him smiling.
" fine. whatever you want babe. "
(when we were little, we had an inside joke that neither of us can even remember anymore. but we DO remember the word "babe" had to do with it and it was fucking hilarious.)
"yayyyy! " i smile.
i give him my number, leave the vc, and patiently wait for him to answer.

"hellooo." he says.
"WOAH??" i say, looking him up and down.
he laughs. "WHAT??"
"YOU LOOK OLD!!!"
"oh, come on. im not THAT old."
"you're pretty damn old, man."
"well- you look different too!!"
"how so?"
"you're actually hot now!!"
"WOWWWWW."
we continue yelling and laughing at each other.
occasionally showing each other's cats, playing imessage games, etc.
"ITS 11 DUMBASS!! Y WOULD YOU LET ME STAY UP THIS LATEEE UGHHH?!" i whine.
" awwwwh! is it past your bedtime~? he grins jokingly."
"no, DUMBASS i'm 19 and i stream early in the morning!"
i sigh
"i'll call you after, k babe?"
"ight. goodnight."
