i finally finish the room. the bed was made, closet organized & surfaces dusted.
i turn off my music & step out to see the boys are still huddled around the sink.
i run up to dream & jump on his back.
"dreeeaaaammmm~!"
"yesssss?"
"can we get a cat??"
"no way!! we already have patches!" george exclaims
"plus yogurt is moving in with you! absolutely not." dream says, carrying me over to the couch, everyone else following.
"dream PLEASEEEE." i beg
"IT CAN BE YOURS & DREAM CHILD!!" sapnap yells, jumping onto the couch.
"YEA!!"
"nope."
"but-"
"no."
"HEAR ME OUT-"

dream turns to me.

holy shit that's the scariest thing i've seen all day.
i just stare at him as i feel my face get all warm again.
he tries to hold back a huge smile but fails.
"heh...okay okay MAYBE."
"AAAAAA YAY WHAT ARE WE GONNA NAME HER??"
"her??" george says
"YES! HER"
"I WANNA DOG!" sapnap yells
"WE CANT HAVE THREE ANIMALS THOUGH!!" dream says
"BUT DREAMMMM!"
after a lot of yelling & screaming over each other, i get tired of it so i make them choose something to watch.
"corpse bride??" dream says
"no, let's watch inuyasha!!"
"nobody likes anime but you, snanap." says dream
"i like anime!!" i say defensively
"fuck off, I WANNA WATCH CORPSE BRIDE." george says over me.
"YOU LIKE CORPSE BRIDE, DONT YOU, Y/N?" dream says.
"kinda?"
"corpse bride it is!"
we finally shut up & watch tv. dream is on the far left, i'm right next to him, leaning my head on this shoulder, george is next to me & sapnap is on the far right.

half way into the movie, dream sits up & turns to me.
"Y/N!! LETS DRESS UP AS EMILY & VICTOR FOR HALLOWEEN!!"
"as long as i get to be Victoria" sapnap chimes in.
"I WANNA BE SCRAPS!!" george yells.
after george's announcement, the 3 boys get into an argument on weather or not he can be scraps.
"UUUGGGGGGHHHHH! IM BORED."
i say, over everyone.
"well what do you wanna do?" dream pauses.
tw: food
"well me need to go grocery shopping." george says.
everyone looks at him and the two boys burst into laughter.
"that's the most boring thing i've ever fucking heard." i say.
"what!! we don't have any GRAPES."
"who the FUCK eats grapes??" sapnap replies
"I DO!!" george yells
"gross."
"i'm pretty sure y/n wants to do something FUN, george." dream says.
"isnt there a fair like, a few hours away?" sapnap asks
"YES THAT LETS DO THAT!!"
"let's wait a little bit..the first days will be suuper busy." dream says.
jesus, i've never realized how much he sounds like a dad.
"well when can we go?" i ask
"uhmmmm.. i dunno. whenever we get you all moved in i guess."
i groan and throw my head back. i thought living with roommates would be FUN.
"grocery shopping it is!!" george says, oddly ecstatic.
