Dear Y/N,
Since I was too nervous to tell you this earlier, I figured that writing this down would be easier for me. I'm sorry, I hope you understand...
Y/N, this is something I need to get off my chest. To me, you're a friend. You're a person I trust, a shoulder I can lean on. You're an open ear when I need someone to listen. I guess you're like the stars, in a way – when it's dark and I can't find a way, you're always there for me to lead the way. And even when I can't see you, I know that you're still there for me.
I love looking back at all the times we've spent together, it's always a pleasure to spend time with you.
I'm incredibly thankful to be your friend, to have an amazing person like you by my side. But a while ago I noticed that I've fallen in love with you – how could I not? I doubt that you would ever feel the same way, but I wanted to tell you anyway. If you don't feel the same, that's fine, I'm still incredibly thankful to be your friend. That is if you'd still want to be friends.
