f is for feelings – how do they realize that they are in love?

-It takes Midoriya a while to realize that he is in love with you. At first, he isn't sure how to interpret his own reactions when you are around; his heart rate picking up in pace, his face glowing bright red whenever you compliment him – he doesn't know what to do with that

-He only really realizes that he is in love when Uraraka asks him about it.
"You've been staring at Y/N for a while now," she raises her eyebrows at him. "You've got a crush, don't you?" Midoriya vehemently denies it and tries moving on with his day, but her words don't leave his head

-It takes a few more days for him to finally come to terms with his own feelings

i is for i love you – who said it first? and how? do they say it often?

-You say it first while trying to comfort Midoriya. He is blaming himself for something that went wrong while he was patrolling during his work study, which lead to someone getting hurt.
"Y/N, it's all my fault," Midoriya says for the millionth time, on the verge of tears once again. "I could have done so much more, I-" You cup his face with your hands and force him to look at you.
"Izuku, listen." You sigh and try to smile. "You did a great job out there, okay?" A choked sob shakes Midoriya a little. You wipe away one of his tears with your thumb before you continue.

-"You are still a hero in training but, as your mentor said, you are already really strong. Nothing too bad happened today and it really wasn't your fault."

-Midoriya nods slowly.
"Your teachers, your friends, your mom, and I, we all believe in you. You'll be an amazing hero one day and what happened earlier won't change that. I love you, okay?"

-Maybe it isn't the perfect time to say that because Midoriya breaks down crying again

o is for on cloud nine – how do they act when they are in love? how do they express their feelings?

-When Midoriya is in love, he has a lot of trouble concentrating on other things. He keeps finding himself thinking about you at random times and it leads to him not paying too much attention to what's going on around him. He also can't help staring at you a lot

-Midoriya is very expressive in general, and when he's in love it's no different. Non-verbal expressions like blushing is something that happens to Midoriya all the time (even though Midoriya hates it and wants to disappear every time it happens). Besides that, he expresses his feelings mostly through words – telling you how awesome he thinks you are, how impressed he is by what you just did – as well as acts of service, like giving up his own free time to help you with your homework or working out together
