Lesson 9 : Comfort
Everyone needs a comfort, a helper, a crying-shoulder, a saviour and a person who will be at your side whenever you call him.
But not everyone is lucky to have a person like that.
Everyone leaves. Everyone is temporary. A Real Talk.
Yes, may kaibigan ka, pamilya, kaklase, mahal sa buhay... ngunit hindi sa lahat ng pagkakataon ay nasa tabi mo sila. Hindi kapag tinawag mo ay darating agad. Hindi kapag may problema ka ay sasaklolohan ka. Dahil hindi lahat ay ikaw lamang ang priyoridad.
We have our own lives, own priorities, own businesses... sa sobrang raming tao o mahal natin sa buhay ay hindi mo matulungan isa isa, dahil iisa ka lang naman. Paano kung nagkasabay sabay silang humingi ng tulong sa iyo? paano mo sila matutulungan ng sabay sabay? Kaya't hindi maiiwasan na pumili ng pinaka deserving na kailangan ng tulong mo.
Minsan ganun tayo, hihingi tayo ng tulong ngunit hindi lahat darating, bakit? Dahil may sari sarili silang priyoridad. What I mean is, kailangan nating intindihan. Dahil kadalasan ay nagiging madrama at sensitive tayo, magooverthinking tayo dahil hindi sila nagrespond sa paghingi mo ng tulong, iisipin mo na hindi ka niya mahal o mahalaga sa buhay niya. And with that, mas lalaki ang problema mo.
We should also understand them and realize na hindi tayo ang nagiisang tao sa buhay nila.
So let's get to the point. The point is that Everyone is just temporary. Everyone. They talked to you, then... leave.
Everyone but not like Him.
He will never leave you. He will be at your side forever. He will be your Father in Heaven. He will be your saviour. He will be your Helper and a Comforter. He will be your Everything.
But someone ask again,
"Ngunit bakit hindi ko siya maramdaman?"
Because you still didn't accept Him as your Father and still yet didn't believe that Jesus Christ came here on Earth and Died just for our sin.
Isn't it unbelievable and nice? Just accept and believe! Kung sa mundong ito'y kinakilangan mo pang maghirap para makuha ang hinahangad mo at magmakaawa para makahanap ng taong makakasama mo at magcocomfort sayo.... ngunit maniwala at tanggapin mo lamang siya'y magiging anak ka na niya.
He will be your Father and He is the Father that will surely take care of you.
Worries?
"Leave all your worries with Him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7"
Tired?
"He strengthens those who are weak and tired, Isaiah 40:29."
Help?
"The Lord will fight for you, and all you have to do is keep still, Exodus 14:14"
Comforter?
"Worry can rob your happiness, but kind words will cheer you up, Proverbs 12:25"
His words can cheer you up!
And He will give you a Love that no one can ever give. A eternal Love.
"For I am certain that nothing can be separate us from His Love; Neither Death nor Life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the present nor the future. Neither the world above nor the world below-there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the Love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord, Romans 8:38-39"
He will be your Forever and True Comforter/ Helper/ Saviour/ Crying Shoulder/ and a Lovely God.
