♡-16. Unexpected Gift From The Rain

namjoon had run fast across the street, he had done his work as a lawyer, he had a defender and he won. but all his luck ended when he forgot to bring an unmbrella. but it was a bad weather, he's sure to get sick, even if he drink plenty of water and taking a bath, it was too late because he's now showered by the rain. and he was just running because no busses showed in a terminal, and one told him that there was a bus stop, an easiest way to get a bus.

he then sighed to see the bus stop, but there was even no roof in it. he groaned, the rain was giving him bad luck. so he sighed and didn't have a choice, he sat down the bench, looking at the sky so grey and depressed. he didn't even know this will happen. his briefcase was his only life saver to cover him. but then he became giddy when no tears of clouds showered him, and it looked like he can hear the rain trying to hit him.

he looked up to see an ethereal angel smiling at him, chuckling as he sheltered the both of them in the umbrella, namjoon blushed, observing his face then feeling himself getting burn. The man chuckled, to only make him in extreme blush. he felt getting preyed.

“ You shouldn't wet yourself in the rain, you'll get sick, next time you go home, instead of maybe drinking water or showering, how about immediately taking a medicine before your sick does ” the man reminded, namjoon smiled shyly, blushing, “ im jimin, and you? ” jimin extended his hands, namjoon took the hand and shaked hands, “ i'm namjoon, kim namjoon ”

“ such a beautiful name, you must be a lawyer ” namjoon raise an eyebrows, shocked on how he knew his job—never mind. because of the name tag in his breast pocket, and his main rank. then why did he even asked his name?.

“ I'm a doctor, head doctor of the hospital, if you get sick, call me and I'll be there ” he winked, making namjoon blush and giggle, “ a doctor who's just flirtatious ” they both laughed, “ but sure... you'll be my doctor, here's my number ” he took the readied paper with a number and gaved it to jimin, looking at jimin who observed the paper and chuckled.

“ seems like you're ready for everything ” namjoon rubbed the nape of his neck, “ not really, evidently left my umbrella ” he giggled shyly, jimin smiled, “ that makes sense ” he spoke.

then the rain suddenly slowed down and the bus came, the both went inside the bus, while jimin closing his umbrella. The bus wanst really full of people, in conclusion, there was only two people in the bus.

The two sat, sitting beside each other. “ do you often go close to here? in this city ” namjoon asked, just curious because he had not seen this person before. “ i never been to this place, but because i needed a bus stop, someone said this is the only bus stop i can get then i suddenly found an angel making himself shower in the rain ” namjoon blushed again, looking at jimin who smiled.

“ so flirtatious doctor ” the both laughed, only the soft radio from the bus and the soft tapping of the rain was heard. then both went silent for the both, until jimin spoke, “ wanna go for a stop at a cafe? ” he smiled, looking at namjoons daring eyes. “ of course, i would love to ” he answered, smiling back to an angel.

The area was cold, and it was still raining, the wind was in a gale and it felt like winter. the both walking right towards the cafe door and the small tinkle of the bell was heard, there were few people inside, jimin and namjoon sat down in front of the big window, looking at the serene surrounding outside.

and even though the window was frosted, it was fun for namjoon to make a moist on the window and with his fingertip writing randomly, patiently waiting for their order, how about jimin? he was just watching an angel do his own things, interacting with the window, despite the lawyer being ferocious and impede in the court, this one was more of a baby, swinging his feet and giggling quietly.

he couldn't help but take his phone and take sneaky selfies, having a first moment with an angel. so he giggled, and then, he was caught, namjoon looked at jimin who had his phone in front of him, but he immediately settled it down under the table. namjoon giggled, pretending to be huffed as he put out a smile.

“ doctor jimin, it's bad to take selfies at me without permission ” he scolded playfully, but the both bursted a laugh, covering their mouth so they wouldn't be too nuisance at the atmosphere, “ im sorry, but I'm not gonna erase these adorable pictures ” namjoon chuckled. “ You may keep those photos doctor jimin ” he smiled, the coffee they ordered was settled down the table.

they started introducing, laughing and flirting actually. they were happy to meet each so impossibly that their hometown was far away from ilsan and the fact busan was from another side of country was far ahead they met eachother at the time of a horrible rain.

did so it was an unexpected gift from the rain
