Snape X Reader || Falling ♡

~ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝟙𝟞~

"Severus!" I yelled as Draco and I hurried down towards the gates of Hogwarts.

"Severus?" Draco looked at me, a confused look upon his face.

Well shit. Still, I cannot tell him. He doesn't even know about me being a spy.

Then again, it was probably for the best. It would've been to confusing. With everything going on, I don't think he needed any surprises thrown at him.

"Just come on." I said, speeding up

I decided it would be easier to avoid the concept.

"Draco you go, he'll expect you before me."

Draco nodded as we approached Severus, apparating to Malfoy Manor.

I glanced around, making sure nobody was around. As soon as it was clear I began to run.

"Severus." I ran into his arms

I knew tonight was it. Tonight was just the beginning. Severus held me in a warm embrace. The sky was grey and the air damp. It was sad, Hogwarts had never been so.. lifeless.
My only home I've ever known, basically gone.

And again, just like that..I had no where to go.

Severus pulled away, taking my hand into his.

"Stick with me."

He whispered as apparated.

"Yes my Lord, Y/N and I found a way."

"And when do you believe we will be able to use it?" The Dark Lord slowly walked around the table full of Death Eaters.

"It is ready as we speak My Lord."

People shared both looks of fear and excitement. Laughs, cheers, and somehow some people sat in terror. Draco looked terrified. I would be to if I had to do what he had to. Scary thing is.. he HAD to.

He was doing all the wrong things, for all the right reasons. For his family.. for himself. He didn't want to hurt anybody, he just wanted to have a normal happy life.

Sometimes I felt as if I was the only one who saw that. Other than Makenna and I, people looked at him poorly. That was not the reason.

If I could take away his pain in a heartbeat I would, without hesitation.

"Indeed tonight will be a night to remember."
The Dark Lord laughed, along with most of the Death Eaters.

"Tonight Dumbledore shall Die!"

Through the jumping and cheering death eaters, I caught Severus's eyes. Sitting there, quiet as can be. I did the same, as did many others.

The pain in their eyes were evident.
This wasn't something any child nor adult should have to sit through. Draco.. he didn't have to Sit through it though.. he had to do it.
