When I think long and hard about it, unfortunately, my exposure to technology was extremely limited during my childhood due my parents' lack of money. We had only one computer, and only my parents were allowed to use it.. I was never allowed to use any form of computers, and I was denied any video games until I was around 10 years old due to the fact we just couldn't afford it. I couldn't even remember what kind of Dell it was due to the fact my father was always holed up in his room using it.
For 4 years, until I was around 14, the most advanced piece of technology I owned was a Gameboy Advance SP. Everyone else had Iphones, Ipads and whatnot, however, I considered any form of technology an indisposable treasure to those few who had money.
Currently the technology I own.. is one Nintendo 3DS, a trac phone, and an Asus computer. By far, that is the sum of all the technology I own in general, the Asus being actually my first computer.
