Chapter 6: playing music together

After lighting the candles in the mirror room to unlock the door, they were back in the fortune teller's room, were of course four candelabras stood in each corner of the room.

You then took this as a sign to light them all, so you use the new fire element and gently lit them. A key was then dropped onto the floor, "glad that did at least something," you said as Luigi bent down to gab the key.

He then looked at his GB, "looks like it leads to a room on the far left. You then gave a quick nod and the both of you went to check it out. You then encountered the laundry room, which was already open however the key lead to a room connected to it.

Luigi then went to open the door however a pink puncher appeared to scare the crap out of him. You immediately jumped into action and stunned the ghost, and sucked it up. Luigi let out a sigh of relief however a grabby ghost then appeared. You ran out of the way as Luigi Aimee his flashlight at the ghost and pulled it into the vacuum, earning a screech from the ghost.

Another pink puncher and grabber ghost, however white this time appeared and you took out the grabber ghost whilst Luigi dealt with the pink ghost. Eventually the room lit up and a green chest appeared, you opened it and there was a lot of money inside.

Yet again just as Luigi was about to unlock the door, the washing machine then rattled, you sighed and turned your head to face the green plumber, "you open the door and see what's inside whilst I see what's in this washing machine."

Luigi reluctantly nodded as he didn't want to leave you alone but nonetheless he turned the key and unlocked the door, opening it and seeing what was inside. You then walked towards the washing machine and opened it, revealing a few bed sheets and Mario's hat? You quickly reached in and grabbed it, seeing it was clean and smelt like lavender.

Luigi then came back, "there's nothing in that room, it's just pitch black." He then looked at the red cap you were holding, "is that?"

"Yep," you responded rather quickly, "it's Mario's hat, don't know what's it doing here though."

Luigi then had an idea, "how about we take it to madam clairvoya?"

You the smiled and nodded, you then kept a firm grip on the hat as you went back to the fortune teller.

"Hm? What is this object? Show it please, to Madame clairvoya." You then showed her the night red cap, "ah if it isn't Mario's hat why, it's so clean as if... SOMEONE JUST WASHED IT!"

you looked at her confused not faded by the sudden outburst, but Luigi stared at her in a panic.

"...Sorry I just like to add a little drama you know. Hm? Just a moment... did I just say Mario? Could it be that Mario?"

"W-well yes, he and I are b-brothers and me and my friend here are looking for him." Luigi stuttered.

"So you are the brother of this famous Mario and the lovely couple have come to this place to find him, well aren't you a good brother and friend! HACK ak ha harf!"

"...sorry I don't laugh much..." Madame clairvoya then placed her hands over the crystal ball. "O-oh they come!"

The room then shook, you frantically looked around as The fortune teller went on, "Crystal orb, symbol of my clan, use your darkling power to show all you could, I mean CAN show us all you can...show us this Mario." There was a moment of silence...
