The One That Got Away

*Y/N'S POV*
It was finally Friday and I was on my way over to the academy for a sleepover with the girls, I hadn't seen Five since the weekend which sucked but I just put it down to him being busy, but I knew I'd see him tonight for sure and I was so excited.
I arrived at the door and knocked, within seconds Grace greeted me with her warm smile.
"Hi Grace." I beamed and she welcomed me in.
"Girls, Y/N is here." She shouted and I heard footsteps running towards me.
"Slumber party." Allison squealed and I giggled.
"C'mon, lets take your bags upstairs." Vanya smiled and I nodded, following them upstairs.

*FIVE'S POV*
I stood looking over the girls from the second floor, they were having a slumber party or something... I wanted to say hi to Y/N so badly, to hug her again and laugh with her again.
"Remember what I told you number Five." I heard my father next to me and I sighed but nodded.
"Yes sir."
"Good. Now I'm going to do some work." He said before leaving me alone.
I walked off to my room, bumping into the girls. Fuck.
"Five, hi." Y/N smiled at me. I nodded in reply and she looked at me, quite confused.
"Five, don't be so rude. Give her a proper greeting for crying out loud." Allison moaned at me and went in to the bedroom to help Vanya with something, leaving us alone in the hallway.
"Are you okay?" She asked and I let out a sigh.
"I can't see you anymore, or speak to you and hang out with you. Father said I have to concentrate on my studies. I'm sorry." I spoke up.
"What the fuck, after all the fun we had the other day?"
"It wasn't anything special... just leave me alone." I muttered, walking into my room.

*Y/N'S POV*
That was weird...  I stood in the hallway for a few seconds when I heard Klaus behind me and I was snapped away from my thoughts.
"I heard we were having a slumber party."  I turned and saw a massive grin on his face.
"Are you joining us?"  I smiled and Allison came running from the bedroom.
"No, he's not!  Go away Klaus!"  She shouted at him, dragging me into her bedroom by my arm, I couldn't help but giggle as she slammed the door in his face.
*TIMESKIP*
A couple hours had passed and we were watching a scary movie, Allison had fallen asleep and Vanya was dozing off too.  I waited until they had fallen asleep and I decided to go and see if Klaus was still awake since I was craving a cigarette and he had evolved into my smoking partner.  I turned the television off and snuck down the hallway to his room, trying my best to be quiet but also knock on his door.  After knocking I heard him make him way to the door from the other side.
"Wanna go smoke."  I whispered to him and he nodded eagerly.
"Come."  He held my hand and lead me to the rooftop.
"This view is so beautiful, I really can't get over it."  I spoke up a little louder now that we were outside.
"Eh, it's okay I guess."
"You're crazy!"  I chuckled, sitting opposite him cross legged.
"So how's the slumber party going?"  He questioned, passing me a rolled cigarette.
"The girls have fallen asleep so I thought I'd come and annoy you."  I confessed and he smiled, exhaling the smoke.
"As much as I enjoy your company, why didn't you go and moider Five?"  He asked and I sighed.  "What's happened?"  He pondered.
"Well we hung out the other day and now all of a sudden he's being really shitty with me...  I don't know what I've done wrong."
"You haven't done anything.  It's my father, I heard him telling Five that he had to concentrate on his work and he told him that he's not to see you again."
"Are you serious..."  I spoke up, I thought that Mr Hargreeves liked me atleast a tiny bit.
"Look, I sneak out all the time to go to parties, my dad doesn't know...  Five just needs a little push and he'll be more than happy to come out on little rendezvous with you again."
"I don't know, he seemed really off with me before."
"He'll do that.  He's a stubborn little prick sometimes, but he's a good kid, trust me Y/N."  I smiled at him and stood up, walking to the edge of the rooftop.
"Hey, I'll be right back."  I heard Klaus say and I nodded, admiring the view of the city lights.
A couple minutes passed and I heard the door open again.  Separating the quiet and warm home to the chilly and noisy outside
"You took your time."  I giggled, turning when I didn't get a reply.
"Hey."  I heard his voice, it was Five.
"Oh...  Hi."  I smiled, walking away from the edge of the roof and towards him a little.
"Klaus made me come up here."  He explained.
"Oh...  Okay?"  I was a bit concerned about what Klaus had said to him.
"Look, I have to concentrate on myself and my studies and I can't get distracted."
"Five, if you don't wanna be friends then please just tell me, okay!"  I said and he groaned.
"No, I do want to be friends.  I had so much fun the other day and I want to do it again, but I'm not normal...  None of us are!  We have to work on our powers."
"Klaus literally told me that he's always sneaking out to go to parties and he still gets up in the morning and does training...  What makes this any different?"  I was now face to face with the boy.
"Okay, maybe you're right..."  He gave me a weak smile and I couldn't help but smile back and roll my eyes at him.
"Of course I'm right."  I playfully tapped his forehead and he held my hands in his, rubbing with his thumbs.
"I'm sorry if I upset you."  He apologised and it sounded genuine.
"You'll just have to make it up to me I guess."  I giggled and he smirked at me.
"Damn, I guess I'll owe you sexual favours for the rest of my life."
"Shut up you loser."  I giggled and he pulled me in to a hug.
"Please stay with me Y/N, if we're gonna be friends then I want it to last."
"I'm not gonna leave, don't worry.  Always and forever you nerd."  I smiled and he squeezed my hand in his.
"Always and forever."  He smiled at me.
"Have you finished apologising yet, fuckhead?"  I heard Klaus and looked over, he had woken the others up and they were all stood there with massive smiles on their faces and holding blankets.
"He has indeed."  I smiled at them and I heard Allison squeal only for Luther to hush her and her repeating "sorry's"
"Okay, so are we gonna stargaze or what?"  Ben spoke up, laying his blanket and pillow on the ground and lay on them.
