*THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE*

Nobody apart from the two teens were really sure what happened that night on the roof, but after said night they were always together. Always sneaking glances at one another, walking hand in hand down the street and Five giving Y/N his jacket because she was cold. Diego had even walked in on them spooning in bed one time but they shrugged it off and just said they were messing about.
They weren't really just friends anymore.

*Y/N'S POV*

"I'll be right back, I'm thirsty." I sat up and left Five's room, walking to the kitchen of my second home.
"I'm surprised lover boy isn't on your tail, he never usually lets you out of his sight." I heard Diego and looked up.
"Shutup, he's not my lover boy." I rolled my eyes, playing with the straw I had placed in my glass.
"Then what's going on with you guys?" He asked.
"Nothing.  We're friends. Just friends!"
"But just friends don't look at each other like that." He said, sitting opposite me.
"Like what?" I questioned.
"Every time someone mentions your name, no matter when or where or even if Five is being his smartass self, his whole attitude will change and I don't know, he'll go all soft." I smiled and felt my cheeks heat up a little. "And that!" He pointed at me. "You're blushing at the thought of it."
"I am not!"  I jumped, trying to defend myself.
"You like Five."  He sang.  "And he likes you."
"What the fuck are you talking about you imbecile."  Five walked in to the kitchen, raising a brow at his brother.
"Oh, just how you two are madly in love with each other and eventually you're gonna bone." Diego said in a casual tone
"What the hell!" I swatted at him and Five punched him in the arm.
"Fuck off."  Five pointed towards the door and I watched in amusement as Diego almost skipped away, all before shooting me a wink.  "He's such a dumbass."  Five laughed it off and I agreed.
We were friends.  Best friends, and maybe we were a little close but isn't that the point of it all, being able to be totally vulnerable and soppy with each other.
