NICK'S POV
I sighed as I hung up the phone. Brian walks in and sees the sad look on my face.

"Hey Frack you good?" he asks.

"No not really. Taylor just dumped me for another guy." I say, miserably. This was the third time.

"What? I told you she wasn't the right one Nick." he scolds me.

"Why are you always right when it comes to these things?" I whine.

"Cause I'm older and more experienced Nick." Brian says.

"You've had less girlfriends than me! How are you 'more experienced'?" I complained. Brian just shakes his head and is about to answer when AJ, Kevin, and Howie walk in.

"What's up?" AJ calls, plopping down on the sofa.

"Nick here just got dumped by Taylor." Brian answers.

"Brian!" I smack his arm. I did not want the whole group to know. It was bad enough that I got dumped, but everyone else knowing and pitying me was unbearable. I absolutely hated being pitied.

"What? Why?" Kevin asks.

"Another guy." I answer lazily as I slump in my chair.

"Aww man I wanted to make a move!" AJ whines. I glare at him, and he smiles sheepishly.

AJ, being the most flirty, always said things that irked me sometimes.

"Sorry man." he mumbles. I rolled my eyes.

"So what are you gonna do now Nick?" Howie asks.

I shrug, and say, "Guess I'm a single guy again."

Brian pipes up.

"Is this a good time to say that she had a snub nose?"

We laugh, as Brian always knows what to say to make me feel better.

"I mean, he's not kidding. It was all upturned." AJ jokes.

"Yeah your right." I say, while laughing. These guys always knew how to make me feel better. We've been together since April 20, 1993, and I had no regrets.

I smile, maybe it's not that bad that we broke up.

These guys were my family, and that was what was important.

BRIAN'S POV
"Why can't we leave the hotel?" Nick complained.

"Because Lou said no." Kevin answered, looking up from his book.

"But it's so boring." Nick flopped down on the bed.

"Why don't you play your Nintendo or something?" Howie offered.

"I forgot to bring it." Nick scowled. "If Kevin hadn't dragged me out, I would've been able to get it."

Kevin ignored him, and continued reading.
