LILI'S POV
I roll over and look at the dark brown wooden door.

I get out of bed and go the the bathroom and take a bath.

Ugh, I'd rather take a shower.

I can't believe I'm back in this prison. It looks just like it.

Tears start falling down my cheeks. I don't know how long it's been.

I think it's been almost a week, but I have no way of knowing. Stepping out of the bathtub, I dry myself off and dress in the bright red dress that is on the table.

God I hate this dress. It's so revealing. But it's better than going around naked. I sit down on the bed and lean against the pillows. I miss my home so much.

How did Gary and Joe even find me? I hadn't seen them in three years. I look around the room.

It's decorated the same way as my old room in California. Huge four poster bed, with red velvet furnishing. I even have a TV and a radio.

I hear the doorknob jiggling. I sit up, fearing that it's my father. But a middle aged woman comes in. She's holding a tray with food.

My mouth waters. The plate is heaped with roast chicken and vegetables with mashed potatoes. She looks at me in fear, and sets the plate on the table, then bows and leaves.

My heart breaks for the woman. I hate that they look at me like I'm like my father. I walk over to the table and eat.

I forgot how fancy the food was here. I decide to turn on the radio while I eat. I hear the ending of "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. I smile. I haven't heard that song in a while. Then the radio man speaks.

"Well here is a new pop group known as the Backstreet Boys that have released their very first single We've Got It Goin On." I drop my fork. The song starts:

"Everybody groove to the music, everybody jam." After that line is sung, the radio started blasting the funkiest music I had ever heard. I giggled, and the song continued.

"We've been waiting so long
Just can't hold it back no more
Creepin' up and down now
It's time for me to let it go
If you really wanna see
What we can do for you
Send the crazy wildin' static
Sing it
Jam on 'cause Backstreet's got it
Come on now everybody
We've got it goin' on for years
Jam on 'cause Backstreet's got it
Come on now everybody
We've got it goin' on for years
We've got it goin' on for years
We've got it goin' on for years
Well I'm creepin' up on your left
Straight up funky when I get with you
Keep it ruthless when I get wet
Keep the party packed in my corner
Tough like granite to keep the crowd hype
Get up on this just to get right
What you want is what you gonna get
Backstreet's got the special effects, uh
If you really wanna see
What we can do for you, oh
I'll send the crazy wildin' static
Sing it
Jam on 'cause Backstreet's got it
Come on now everybody
We've got it goin' on for years
Jam on 'cause Backstreet's got it
Come on now everybody
We've got it goin' on for years
We've got it goin' on for years
We've got it goin' on for years
We've been waiting so long
Just can't hold it back no more
(just can't hold it back no more)
Creepin' up and down now
It's time for me to let it go
It's time for me to let it go
Jam on, jam on
Everybody groove to the music
Everybody jam
Everybody groove to the music
Everybody jam
Jam on 'cause Backstreet's got it
Come on now everybody
We've got it goin' on for years
Jam on 'cause Backstreet's got it
Come on now everybody
We've got it goin' on for years
We've got it goin' on!" I grin.

The song is really catchy. I love it. I can't wait to tell Nick. Then it hits me.

I'm never going to see Nick again.

I'm stuck here in this hell. I turn off the radio and sink down to the floor and start sobbing. I miss Nick so much.

He's the only friend I ever had. I remember our food fight when we were making the cookies. It seems so long ago.

Again, I hear the doorknob jiggle. But I don't hurry to get up. Instead, I just stay where I am, on the floor. Gary comes in holding a phone. He shoves it in my face.

"It's the blonde boy. Let him know your alive." he hisses. Nick?

"Nick?" I ask, my voice quivering.

"Lili? Are you okay?" he asks, sounding terrified. I'm about to answer when Gary snatched the phone away.

"Oh she's alright. For now. Come and she'll live." Gary says. I widen my eyes.

My father has no intention of harming me which means they're going to kill Nick if he comes.

"Nick don't! They'll kill you!" I scream.

"Shut the hell up!" Gary reaches out to grab me. I scream in fear.

"Lili!" I can hear Nick screaming my name over the phone. Joe comes in the room and puts a white cloth over my face. I scream and kick. But it's too much.

I hear Gary say cruelly, "Come to the alleyway. Tonight. Or she dies."

That's all I hear before I spiral into darkness.
