Loki x Reader

Part One

You remember the first day you met Thor and his brother Loki.

"This is Thor some day he will be king," Odin introduces you to his son. You notice a boy hiding in the shadows not too far away. You think he must be Loki the other son of Odin. "Y/N I am hoping you can become friends with Thor, so why don't you two spend some time together?" Odin explains. "Ok," you say. You wander off with Thor babbling on about what he would do when he is king. All you can think of is your longing for Loki the boy lurking in the shadows.

You are back in the present sitting on the steps in front of Odin's throne with Thor. Odin is down stairs somewhere arguing with Loki. "TELL ME!" you hear Loki scream from somewhere below. You jump up in distress "NO!" You shout. Thor stands up and wraps you in a warm embrace, he mutters comforting words trying to calm you down. It works a little but you can't stop thinking how Loki is hurt.

Odin comes into the throne room some time later. "Thor, a word please." Thor leaves you in the throne room and follows Odin out. You slump down to the floor silent tears running down your cheeks.

You can't stand it anymore you get up to go find Loki even though it is probably much too late. "Where do you think you are going Y/N?" Odin says as he enters the throne room with Thor. "I uh-" you are unsure if you should lie or not. "I was going to look for Loki," You decide to go with the truth. "No you should leave Loki alone," Odin replies coldly. You look down at the floor dissapointed you couldn't have decided to look for Loki sooner. "Ok" is all you get out. Tears well up in your eyes because you are not allowed to see if Loki is ok. Oh no the water works are here, you think sarcastically mentally rolling your eyes. Thor comes over and wraps his arms around you as you start uncontrollablely sobbing. Odin says something you don't hear as you are fading away from the world.

You wake up in your bedroom disoriented as you have no memory of coming here. You turn your head and see Loki sitting in the chair in the corner of your room. "Loki?" You mumble due to still being half asleep. "Thor was right, you do talk in your sleep," was what Loki said. "Oh no," you mutter. What else has Thor told him? You think, surely he hasn't betrayed my trust that much and told Loki I like him. "I made a mistake coming here," Loki said more to himself then anything. "What? Loki? Loki what do you mean?!" You demand as he ignores your worried gaze. "Y/N I-I'm leaving," Loki admits. "What?! No! L-Loki no you can't leave," you get really worried as you may not see him again. You look back towards Loki and- he's gone he must have left when you looked away for a split second.

You rush and get changed out of your night clothes and rush to find Thor. "Thor!" You say in shock as you nearly run right into him. "What is it Y/N?" Thor asks. " Loki. I-it's Loki! He's gone!" You explain. "It's ok, we'll go to Heimdal, he can see everything." Thor assures you. Thor wraps his arm around your waist and summons mjolnir and you both fly across to Heimdal in a matter of seconds. "Heimdal we need to find Loki" Thor got to the point. "Loki is in Midgard I can send you there," Heimdal glances at you, "both of you." Thor nods in gratitude. Heimdal warns you both he is about to send you to Midgard and you prepare for the bifrost and then you are off.
