His Rose

How Long?

Alessandro's POV

"SHE'S ALIVE!" Luca yells to Maia.

I just take a massive sigh of relief when the call ends. I am so fucking happy to hear her voice again. I thought that last call, would be our LAST call.

"Okay! Enough celebrating. We need to go get her." I say to Luca, Maia, and Mateo.

"Okay!" Maia says excitedly. "I can't wait to see my Rose again!!" She squeals.

She's my Rose but I'll let that slide...

It's been a few hours and we're finally at the cafe. I really hope she's here.

If she isn't here. I'm killing whoever took her. And I'm almost 100% sure I know who it is, Dimitri sits on his ass all day, he sends his son to do the dirty work.

I walk into the cafe with Luca. There's an older looking lady at the register.

"Oh! Hello what can I get for you?" She says sweetly.

"A girl called telling us she's here-" Luca starts but is quickly cut off by her.

"Are you the guy she called?" She asks me.

"Yes ma'am." I say back.

"You're not going to hurt her right?"

"No ma'am. I won't."

"Okay. She's sleeping in the back, I'll go get her."

The lady walks to the back and Luca looks at me. I raise my eyebrows.

"You good? You haven't slept in- God knows how long. So, are you good?" He asks.

"I'm fine. I just need to see Rose."

"You're W to the H to the I to the double P- E - D." He sings jokingly.

"And you aren't?" I reply.

"At least my girl doesn't make me a soft little baby." He says glaring at me.

"I am not soft-"

"Yes you are, 'Sandro baby'." He says, mocking Rose in the last part.

"I am not, 'Luca Baby'." I say glaring at him and mocking Maia.

"Aw you guys are calling each other pet names." I hear coming from in front of us.

"Rose!" I say as she runs over to me.

"I missed you so much." She says into my chest.

"I've missed you more Rose." I say kissing the top of her head.

"Remind me to never get kidnapped again- they tried to feed me a damn cow!" She says laughing a little.

She pulls me down to her lips and kisses me. I kiss her back but before the kiss gets too intense she pulls away. I look at her confused. She stares back at me. I read her face and before I can say anything tears form in her eyes.

"What's wrong baby?"

"Noth-"

"You know damn well it is not the time to keep secrets. I haven't seen you in two and a half weeks. So I'll ask you again. What's wrong?"

"I- I have to tell you something when we get home..." She says looking up at me and wiping her tears out of her eyes.

"Okay. We should go home now." I say taking her hand.

She nods her head.
Luca trails behind us, eating a bagel he bought from the cafe.
We walk to the car and Maia steps out quickly.

Rose let's go of my hand and runs over to Maia.
