Rose's POV

It's been a few weeks since I went to the hospital. In that time I did cry and break a lot of things, but I'm pretty sure I'm good now.

I'm eating some strawberries and watching Stranger Things for the 30th time.

"Let's go to the mall!" Mai says stealing a strawberry.

"Hey!"

"What?! It's not like you'd give me one if I asked."

She's not wrong.

"True. And sure, let's go to the mall." I shrug and get up.

"ALEXA! WHAT'S THE WEATHER TODAY?" I yell.

"It is 68° today. Maybe you should wear a light jacket." Alexa replies.

"Thanks!" I say and walk upstairs.

I told Sandro I'm leaving to the mall since he's out too.

He said it was okay but he's sending some of his men with us. I would've went even if he said no because I need to get out of this damn house. I finally stopped grieving so I need to go out.

We walk to a H&M and just look around for random ass clothes. It's been about 3 hours and we got our nails done and we went to like 5 other stores. So now we're just getting clothes and makeup.

"Dude you would look totally hot in this outfit." Mai says holding up a cute Oversized Tee and a skater skirt.

"Mai, you know damn well that's not my style."

"But look! It's red and green and Christmas is in 3 months! You'll look so cute!"

"Wait- HALLOWEEN!!! It's in like 20 days! Hoe, we need costumes!" I says excitedly.

I never really cared about Christmas, but halloween?! Oh. My. God! I love it! All the spooky costumes! All the dark colors. Candy- CANDY IS SO CHEAP IF YOU BUY IT IN BULK!

"Okay let's go! Wait do you want to buy this first tho?" She says holding up the outfits.

"We've got enough clothes at home," I shrug. "Now let's get some costumes!" I says dragging her and our other bags out the store.

We go to Party City, which is next door to the mall.

"Ooh! Let's go as cheerleaders!" Mai says smiling.

"I mean I wanna go as the devil..." I say holding up a red bodysuit with devil horns and a tail.

"Ooh, get it bitchhh!" She says making me laugh.

"Okay so I'll go as a slutty vampire because yes." She says and we both laugh.

We walk around the store for a few minutes before getting hungry.

"Okay, wanna go eat after this?" I ask while we walk up to the register.

"Hell yea, I'm so hungry." Mai says to me.

We pay for our things and leave.

We're sat in a Mexican restaurant. I got a burrito and Mai got a quesadilla. We were talking about going to a halloween party and stuff when she stops talking mid sentence.

"Um... Don't look behind you. But I think that's your man with another girl." She says pointing behind us at the front.

I turn and look over the booth and see the one and only

Alessandro Bianchi,

With another girl...

"She's way prettier than me. Like fucking gorgeous."

"She's aight. Hey don't worry. That could be a family member or someone he works with. Stay calm babes." Mai says holding my hands and rubbing the back of them with her thumbs.

She could probably see me panicking. She makes me face her and hands me my water.

"Mai, I couldn't compare to her. Ever." I say stuttering.

"No you really couldn't. Because you're fucking gorgeous and the most amazing person ever so you really couldn't compare to her." Mai says smiling at me while glancing at Sandro and the girl every once and a while.

I let out a tear and then another.

Dammit...
