hello it's the author here!! i'm surprised if anyone would read this a/n hehe, i'm gonna talk a little about the story to explain the way i write each character.

oikawa = i like to think that he's not just the silly and childish character i see people typically writing him as, but he's also really fixated on his dreams, and he sees the reader as one of his dreams, as the reader focuses more on helping him make his dreams come true, they're basically helping each other whether they realise it or not. their company for each other is enough comfort for one another.

the reader : i basically wanted to make her a kind and patient character, hence the title of the story "amiable". the reader wants nothing more than to be there for tooru and give him the support he deserves, despite having him cheat on her (although he obviously doesn't mean too!!) she's determined to support him in anyway possible. whether as a partner or as a friend.

nareo : at first i wanted to make her an unbearable character but i felt as if the reader needed a friend other than iwaizumi and oikawa, so i made her realise her wrongs and try to help the reader realise how much oikawa loves and needs her, she's a typical fun friend who tries to fix her mistakes until it's clearly fixed.

iwaizumi : he's basically there to help and support everyone, some of you might know he's always the one to make oikawa realise his mistakes in the first chapters, he's always there for everyone and he really does appreciate his friends despite not clearly showing it.
