Callum awoke to find himself in Xadia with Rayla and Zym by him. He was in a cave, a smoldering fire in the center and the sun shining outside. The first thing he did was rush to Rayla side and shake her. When she opened her eyes Callum hugged her hard.
However suddenly, Rayla started to disappear. Callum suddenly lost her body in his arms and without the solidness of her he fell to the ground. Tears stung his eyes and he looked around franticly.
"Rayla!" He screamed. Black smoke started to swirl around him and he lost control of reality. The ground started to fall, piece by piece until he was falling into utter blackness.
And then he woke up.
He was sweating or maybe it was tears? Hard to tell. Somebody was screaming. Maybe it was him? Then somebody had taken control of his legs. He was running. Or maybe that was him. He couldn't see. Couldn't feel. He was losing control.
All he knew was that Rayla was gone. She was in trouble.
And he was powerless.
