Betrayed, but not alone

A Mothers Betrayal and A new Reveal

They made there way back to petalbrug and was greeted by a very happy Kaitlyn

"Yeah your back", she said hugging Ash, who reached down and picked her up

"Of course, now did you have fun?" He asked the girl

"Yes miss Maple showed me her husband's pokemon and they played with me", she squealed

"That is very nice of her", Ash said

"Norman are you back", Caroline asked from the kitchen

"Yes we are back", Norman replied

"Max dear, can I see your new pokemon and you are in trouble mister", she said

"What?" Max asked a little scared

"Why didn't you tell me you had a girlfriend?" She said hugging her son, with tears in her eyes

"Oh, I'm sorry I was worried", he said sadly

"It's ok, but tell us next time", she said in a sweet voice

Ash sat on the couch thinking of his own mother, who he also found out betrayed thanks to his so called friends

Flashback(2 months after betryal)

Ash sat at the foot of Plaet town, about to see his mother. He reached the front door only to hear voices. Walking over to the kitchen window, he saw his mother talking to most of the Traitors. He listened in and heard them talking about him

"Miss Ketchum, Ash has lost too many leagues don't you think he needed to die anyway", Misty said

"Yes, that is true. To be honest I was going to tell him the same thing, but now I don't have to worry. I thank you for taking care of him". Delia said

This crushed Ash knowing that his own mother betrayed him

"Thank you, miss Ketchum", Misty said

"Its Delia dear", Delia said

Ash left immediately after hearing this and went back to Mt Silver

End Flashback

"Daddy, are you ok?" Kaitlyn asked worried

"Ash, she is right are you ok"? Caroline asked

"Yes, just thinking about something, sorry" Ash replied

"Ok, how about dinner", Norman said, changing the subject

"Yes please", Max and Bonnie said

"Ok, Kaitlyn would you like to help?" Caroline asked

"Yes, I would love to", the little girl said

Ash smiled, seeing the bond of mother and daughter

"Alright, Max let's go outside, I promised you a battle and a battle you will receive". Ash said walking outside, Max and Bonnie soon followed. Once they were all outside Ash released Septile

"Wait am I battling Septile", Max asked worried

"No you are far to inexperienced. He is just going to watch as he was once a Treecko as well." Ash replied

"Ok, Treecko Let's go", Max said throwing the pokeball into the air. Ash followed as well with both Mudkip and Torchic. The second they saw Septile, they hid behind their trainers. Ash laughed at this and said

"Don't worry he isn't going to attack. He is my pokemon, Septile meet Max's starter, Treecko and our new teammates Mudkip and Torchic."

Septile nodded and soon Treecko walked up and noticed the twig in Septile's mouth. It followed suit and quickly started to act like Septile with his own twig. Septile, being the cool pokemon he was, was shocked. Most of Ash's pokemon stayed away from him and now he was being admired by a new Treecko.
