One in the Same

Chapter 7

Logan walked with Janus towards his room, Janus' door was black with yellow edging and a yellow door handle. Logan hadn't ever been in the dark sides part of the mind space. Janus room was a good size, he had a desk and a queen size bed along with a tank for a small-ish yellow python.

"You can put your cloths in the closet and set the other items on the desk," Janus tells Logan.

"Thank you for letting me stay in your room," Logan says formally. Janus just smiles and placed a small kiss on Logan's cheek before leaving the room to watch tv with Remus.

"Come to the common room when your done," Janus told the logical side. Logan quietly unpacked and placed everything into the closet in a orderly fashion. Logan made sure to place his books onto the desk and then neatly place the suit case next to the desk. Logan walked into the common room to see Remus throwing popcorn at the tv and Janus laughing at Remus reaction to the show. Logan smiles at the silliness of the dark sides, Logan hasn't even been around them for an hour and yet he is the happiest he had been in years.

"Want to join us dear?" Janus asked Logan.

"Keeping a schedule is important for mental health," Logan pointed out," we should go to bed."

"Hahahah," Remus starts laughing," damn nerd, you can really make a guy laugh. I think since it's your first day here, we will keep to your schedule but soon you will see the fun in late night movie watching!" Logan and Janus snickered at Remus outburst, Remus than ran down the hall into his room leaving Janus and Logan behind.

"Shall we go to bed darling?" Janus smoothly asked. Logan blushed bright red at the thought of going to bed with Janus.

"Sure," Logan said while trying not to be so flustered. Janus just smirked and walked over to Logan, Logan felt his body heat up as Janus came closer. Janus' smirk only grew wider, he held out his hand for Logan to take. Logan, who had quickly regained his composure, took Janus' hand and allowed the other trait to lead him away. Both quickly changed and brushed their teeth, but when it came time to actually get into bed.... Janus seemed to be a bit awkward.

"I have to probably to confess something," Janus admits," being half snake has its downsides, I have a hard time keeping heat." Logan's eyes widened in realization, Janus needed an extra heat source to keep warm.

"Do you need my assistance?" Logan asked as a slight blush covered his cheeks.

"I wouldn't mind the company," Janus murmured. Logan smiles at the snakes sudden shyness, Logan climbs into bed and signals for Janus to join him.

"Are you sure?" Janus asks Logan,"you just got here and I don't want to make you uncomfortable."

"I wouldn't have made the invitation if I was uncomfortable," Logan pointed out to Janus. A small smile crept across Janus' lips as he joined the logical side on the bed. Janus cuddled into Logan as they both fell asleep. Little did they know what was in store for the next day.
