One in the Same

Chapter 16

After breakfast the six sides stood in a circle as they followed the books instructions. They needed to summon Thomas into the mindscape and then combine his light and dark minds together.

"So who can summon Thomas?" Patton asked the group.

"I can't," Roman said while being dramatic.

"Neither can I," Virgil mumbled.

"Nope," Janus hissed.

"I can't either," Remus grumbled. All eyes turned toward Lucius, Lucius smiled.

"Well guess it's for a good cause," Lucius told the group. Janus eyes lighted up with curiosity as Lucius veins became orange and his eyes glowed a dark orange as well. So Thomas stood confused in the center of his sides.

"Ok," Thomas said looking between each of his sides," what is happening?"

"We are combining the light and dark side's living places!" Patton told there host with a huge smile.

"Oh," Thomas said still a bit confused," why am I here then?"

"We need you to complete the process because you are our host," Lucius tells Thomas.

"Ok then..," Thomas replied.

"Let's just start the thing already!" Remus whined.

"One to none, two to three, one to see and one to be seen," Lucius started the first part of the chant.

"All in thee, six I see," the group continued.

"Bring all together in three," Lucius finished.

"Two," the rest chanted.

"One!" Lucius shouted. Each side started glowing their colors, red for Roman, orange for Lucius, yellow for Janus, green for Remus, light blue from Patton, and finally, purple from Virgil. Then the room around them shifted as the two sides of the mind combined. Once everything settled, the sides stepped back and admired the changed mindspace. Everything had become slightly bigger in the new mindspace. It was a perfect mix of light and dark objects and furniture. Thomas looked around with a child's curiosity but soon he fainted do to the quick change in his mind, Roman caught his host and gently laid Thomas on the huge couch.

"Is he ok?" Virgil asked worry clear in his voice.

"He will be better when he wakes again," Lucius promised the anxious side. Virgil relaxed a bit upon hearing the news and looked around cautiously. Remus then came running down the hall and picked up Virgil bridle style and then ran back down the hall towards one of the three rooms.

"That was interesting," Lucius said aloud.

"Oh darling," Janus voice lured the logical side," I could be so much more interesting~." Janus kissed Lucius neck from behind and slowly movies his hands down Lucius sides towards Lucius' hips.

"Not here bade," Lucius growled. His tail swayed with excitement as his ears moved so that Lucius could here his boyfriend better.

"Then why don't we move this into our new bedroom my dear," Janus asked seductively. Lucius growled and nodded, they both walked towards their new room and set up shop. Patton stayed with their host and listened to his boyfriend telling Patton about his favorite Disney movie. Patton couldn't help but smile, finally they were going to live together as a family.
