Too late

Episode 6

We stared at each other's in the eye for a long time. I didn't know why but I felt like I should kiss her. So, I leaned in and kissed her. She didn't stop me from kissing her but she kissed me right back. I stopped and she also stopped.

Jaebeom: Sorry I didn't mean to. I couldn't stop myself from kissing you.
Jennie: It's fine. We should go to school.
Jaebeom: Is it okay if we go somewhere and then enter the school when it's lunch time?
Jennie: Why? Where do you want to go?
Jaebeom: I'm taking you somewhere because I made you wait.
Jennie: I said it was fine.
Jaebeom: So, that means you did wait for me?
Jennie: ............
Jaebeom: I'm correct.
Jennie: Fine. Just go anywhere then.

I drove to the bar that my dad owns.

Jennie: Why are we here in the morning? And we can't be here, we're not old enough.
Jaebeom: It's fine. My dad owns this place.
Jennie: Really?
Jaebeom: Yes, and since my dad owns this place then I get to drink if I want.
Jennie: But do you drink?
Jaebeom: Yes, why wouldn't I?
Jennie: I don't know, I was just asking.
Jaebeom: Do you drink?
Jennie: Sometimes with my friends.
Jaebeom: Cool. At night let's come here again.
Jennie: Okay. What time is it?
Jaebeom: It's 10:05 a.m.
Jennie: We still have time. Did you have anything else to tell me?
Jaebeom: I actually do.
Jennie: What is it?
Jaebeom: Do you have social media's?
Jennie: Of course I do.
Jaebeom: Can I follow you?
Jennie: On what?
Jaebeom: All of them.
Jennie: Okay.

Jennie told me all her social media's and we followed each other.

Jaebeom: Huhh.....
Jennie: What is it?
Jaebeom: It says your relationship status is single.
Jennie: Right, beca-
Jaebeom: Ready to change your relationship status?

I was shocked by what Jaebeom said to me. Does he mean that he's asking me out? Does he like me or is he just playing with me since he is one of the popular, handsome guy in school?

Jaebeom: So....... is it a yes or no?

When I looked at Jaebeom, his facial expression was calm, and not nervous. He probably does this all the time that he's so use to it.

Jennie: Yes.
Jaebeom: I didn't think you were going to say yes. I'm going to change mine right now.
Jennie: Oh okay.... I will change mine too then...

We both changed our relationship status and drove to the school. When we got to the school, some of the students were outside just hanging around. They were staring at Jaebeom or his car. When we were unbuckling ourselves, Jaebeom told me to stay in the car. He got out of the car and came to the side I was on. He opened the door for me.

Jennie: Thank you.

I came out of the car and saw people staring at us.

Jaebeom: Don't mind them. They always do that.
Jennie: Okay.

I whispered to Jaebeom.

Jennie: Are you sure it's okay to date one of the two popular, handsome guys in this school?
Jaebeom: So you're saying I'm handsome?
Jennie: Well... yea.
Jaebeom: *Smiles* you're so cute.

Jaebeom smiled and pinched my cheeks. When we started walking to the school, students were running inside. Jaebeom sent me to my class and left to his classroom.

Random girl 1: Yahh!! You really got the nerves to be dating my oppa?!
Jennie: Who are you?
Random girl 1: Im ****** and who are you? I only know that you're new.
Jennie: Then that's all you should know. Class is about to start. We can talk later or tomorrow.
Random girl 1: I'm not leaving until you break up with Jaebeom.
Jennie: Is it my problem that he asked me out?
Random girl 1: Wait, what?! He asked you out?
Jennie: Of course. If he didn't then we wouldn't be dating right now.
Random girl 1: You! Just wait until I come back.

The random girl left. I didn't know where she went but I think she went to Jaebeom.

Jin: Yo!! Where were you? Why weren't you here this morning?
Jaebeom: I had something to do.
Jin: Like what?

When I was talking to Jin this random girl interrupted.

Random girl 1: Like hanging out with the new girl!
Jin: Is she serious?
Jaebeom: Yes.
Jin: You seriously dated her?
Jaebeom: I'm sorry but she's taken now.
Jin: Wow! You finally have someone.
Random girl 1: So, it is true?
Jaebeom: Yes, is something wrong?
Random girl 1: N...no.
Jaebeom: Then you should go back to where you belong right now.

The random girl left and I saw Jin staring at me.

Jaebeom: What do you want?
Jin: I'm proud of you.
Jaebeom: For what?
Jin: For dating someone. I never saw you date anyone.
Jaebeom: But it shouldn't be surprising because everyone gets their other person in their life.
Jin: I know that but-
Teacher: Alright class is starting so be quiet.

*Time skip to end of school*

I forgot to ask Jennie what her last class was so I went to the car first. I was waiting for her but she didn't come out. I was thinking that she probably went to her morning classes because she missed them this morning. While I was waiting for her, the random girl walked up to me.

Random girl 1: I have always liked you Jaebeom. Can you accept my heart?

She said to me and leaned closer to me. As she came closer to me, I saw a hand from behind her pulling her back. Someone pulled her back and said "Get your hands off of him. He is mine." I then saw Jennie.
