As practice ended, the team gathered around for a briefing.
"The prelims are soon," Taiji glanced at her notes, "We'll be having extra training on Saturdays."
"Right!"

"I can't believe Iwa-chan left us behind!" Oikawa whined as the two walked to school for extra training.
"You were the one who slept in!" Taiji rolled her eyes, "I should have left you behind and gone with Hajime."
But before Oikawa could respond, the two were distracted by shouting.
"Eh, Do you play volleyball?"
Turning their heads, the two were greeted by the sight of Hinata and a blond-haired boy.
"Isn't that Shrimpy?" Oikawa pointed out, "What is he doing all the way out here?"
"He's talking to that other guy, maybe he's visiting a friend?" Taiji suggested, "C'mon, we'll be late if we don't get a move on."
"Ah, okay,"
But not getting any farther, the two were called out by someone.
"Erm, excuse me!" a tall man called out.
Taiji felt like she recognized that voice.
The man had messy black hair, his eyes were hazel.
He wore a red tracksuit that matched the guy Hinata was talking to.
As his eyes met Taiji's, there was almost a moment of enlightenment.
"Have you seen a guy with blond hair? He's wearing a red jacket. About this tall?"
Taiji swore she knew him.
"Actually, yeah," The green-eyed girl pointed down the road, "We saw someone like that over that corner,"
"Thanks!" The man grinned, "I'm Kuroo Tetsurou, by the way."
He extended a hand to Taiji.
"Taeko Taiji," She shook his hand.
Maybe, in another time, she did know him.
"Well, I gotta go," The brown-eyed man waved, "It was nice meeting you, Taeko-san,"
Taiji waved back, "Bye."
Oikawa had a shocked look on his face, "We're you flirting?!"
"What? no."
"You totally were!" The captain teased, "The dude didn't even look at me."
"I felt like I knew him," Taiji smiled to herself, "That's all."
"I don't like him, he looks like the scheming type."
"What," Taiji continued walking to school, "Were you jealous that I gave my attention to someone else?"
"I'm not jealous!" Oikawa protested.
"Whatever you say, Shittykawa."
