Kai likes to act confident around his friends about girls, but when it's about Skylor he becomes a nervous wreck. The guys still like to tease him about how he would basically have panic attacks just before he asked her out.
If one of them has a nightmare/PTSD attacks, the other forces them to talk about it. It usually ends with them cuddling in one of their rooms.
He goes to visit her at the noodle house at least once a week to hang out and eat lunch.
At leas once a week, Kai spends the night at her apartment and Skylor spends the night at the monastery.
