I walk into y/bf's bedroom we was hanging this evening since we hadn't seen each other in 3 weeks as y/bf had to self isolate for 2 weeks as there was a confirmed case at his college and got tested.I wasn't able to meet him the last week.

"hey chicka"y/bf smiles at me with arms wide open waiting for a hug.

I rolled my eyes at my nickname he gave me "hi"I said softly whilst I placed my lower body on his lap.

I wrapped my arms around his neck as he brought me closer to him,I took in his scent feeling warm inside.

I felt y/bf's nose sniff me,I pulled away from him looking at him confused.

Y/bf scratched the back of his head nervously
"sorry you smell good that's it".

I smiled whilst rolling my eyes "you're so weird sometimes I'm glad "I rolled off his lap taking a seat next to him.

Y/bf pouted "don't say that"he looked away.

I noticed he was a bit upset "hey I was just joking by the way"I cupped his face pressing a soft kiss on his forehead.

He rolled his eyes playfully but carried on staring at the ground.

"thank goddess your test was negative for corona"

"what's wrong?"I asked him as he seemed a bit off

"it's just something"he sighed heavily.

I looked at him concerned "what is it then baby?"i stroke his cheek.

"It's fine,I don't want to talk about it right now"he
said frustrated.

"Are you sure?you can tell me anything I can help yo-"

Y/bf raised his voice but not shouting "Y/N ITS FINE just leave me alone"

I was quite pulled away at y/bf reaction "wow okay,I was just trying to help you theres no need for you to raise your voice at me like that,well I'm going to leave"I stand up quite annoyed and tiny bit upset.

Y/bf had guilt spread across his face,he grabbed my wrist "wait-wait I-I'm-I'm sorry I didn't mean to tell at you"he took a deep breath out "it's my mom".

My eyes widened as I quickly shifted my body taking a seat next to y/bf as I cupped his face.

My heart raced rapidly "Y/bf tell me what happened"I say comforting,his eyes became glossy as he looked into mine.

"Y/bf you can tell me if you want to"I press a kiss on his cheek.

A single tear rolled out his eyes.

"it's my m-m-mom she has go-go -got cancer"he wiped his tears "well breast cancer"

My heart dropped,y/bf's mom was like a 2nd mom to me and I know how close her and y/bf.I felt my heart clench in pain.

"I lied about me self isolating the truth was I just found about my mom"

"Y/bf I'm so sorry"I look as I felt my eyes watering.

Y/bf broke down sobbing,I felt my heart ache in pain for him.

I wrapped my arms around bringing him into my chest as he cried his arms went around my waist.

"SHES SUFFERING Y/n There's nothing I can do about it SHES WEAK"he said angrily.

I kept quiet allowing y/bf to be in his feelings as to have me at his side as I wasn't able to do that for past 2 weeks.
