Prologue

"A-AKO naman please." I shook my head, kneeling in front of him, letting my tears fall down from my eyes.

"Ako naman," that words sound like a whisper of the pain, a depth of heartaches, and a river of tears.

"Aberry," he called my name and guided me to stand up to face him, slowly wiping my tears and caress my face gently.

He hugged me tightly and whispered, "I'm sorry, we love each other, but we weren't right for each other in the first place." with those words, he let go of me and turn his back on me.

"Hey, Jade wakes up" I slowly opened my eyes and saw Michelle, trying to wake me up.

Siya ang nag-alok sa'kin na tumira sa apartment niya dahil bago pa lang ako noon dito sa New York, hindi ko 'rin naman agad kayang mag avail ng bahay noon kaya pumayag na ako at doon nagsimula ang pagkakaibigan namin.

"Morning," I greeted her and sit beside her seat. She's an American, so I need to speak English, for her to be able to understand me. She's still learning my language.
