Chapter 47

"A-ako naman please," I shook my head, kneeling, and let my tears flow.

"Ako naman" that words sound like a whisper of pain.

"Aberry," he called my name and guided me to stand up and face him, slowly wipe my tears and hold my face gently.

He hugged me so tight, and whispered, "I'm sorry, we love each other but we weren't right for each other in the first place" with those words he let go of me and walked back to that place.

Leaving me hanging in sorrow and pain. "Hha!" I exhale so hard and punch my chest, sobrang sakit nito!

"Hey Jade, wake up," I slowly opened my eyes and saw Michelle, trying to wake me up.

Dahan dahan akong umupo mula sa pagkakahiga at pinunasan ang aking mga mata, na kasalukuyang may luha. That dream again.

"Sorry how long have you been waking me up? Did I bother you a lot?" nahihiyang sambit ko, habang inaayos ang aking kama.

Matapos kong ayusin ang aking kama, binuksan ko ang bintana ng aking silid kung saan agad nitong sinakop ng liwanag ang aking kwarto. The sunrise shines so clear inside my room; the view of New York City really is something mesmerizing, nagagawa nitong buhayin ang malungkot kong silid.

Ang malamig na simoy ng New York City ay ipimalibot sa aking balat, I hugged myself to loosen the coldness and start to prepare for my work.

I entered the bathroom and hung my towel on the sink and stared at myself in the mirror. "Are you happy?" I ask.

I urge a small smile, "Yes I'm ha......." Hindi ko magawang tapusin ang aking sagot ng biglang tumulo ang luha ko,

I wipe it, "Not" agad kong binuksan ang shower at naligo, after taking a shower I glance at my alarm clock. Upang tingnan kung late na ba ako pero maaga pa naman.

I wear a white polo tucked in my rose gold pencil cut skirt, I also top it with a gray cardigan. I wore a black stocking to avoid having dry skin because the weather here is always winter. I also paired my stocking with my black T-strap heels. I apply a simple amount of makeup on my face before fixing the files that I'll need for work.

Lumabas at bumaba narin ako sa dining area kung saan nagbabasa ng dyaryo si Michelle.

"Morning," I greet her and sit beside her.

"Morning gorgeous how's your sleep? Dreaming of him again?" she knows me so well,sa loob kasi ng limang taon siya lagi ang nakakakita ng pagluha ko sa gabi kaya alam niya ang tungkol sa nakaraan ko.

"Nah, just a nightmare again, but I'm fine now" I took a bite of the bacon that's prepared here on the table. After that we start talking about a few things about work and sales, pati narin sa ineestablish ko na strategies.

Nagpalipas kami ng oras hanggang mag 8:30 na at doon na tumuloy kami sa trabaho. Pagpasok ko palang sa building mukha na agad ni Diether ang sumalubong sakin.

"San punta?" tanong ko nang mapansing naglalakad siya papalabas.

"Gonna buy coffee," he answered.

"Libre mo ako, please," I said at him, "Kakalibre ko lang sayo kagabi kiss mona" I glared at him so he laughs and nodded, finch my nose before leaving.

Pagpasok ko sa office ko ay uupo pa lamang ako ng dumating ang assistant ni Madam Lizeth at sinabing pinapatawag daw ako sa office. Binitawan ko na lamang ang dala kong bag at sumunod sa kanya.
