   "Someone needs to tell him."

   "I vote you. You're his mother."

   "Me? You decided this! You tell him!"

   "You guys are bad at whispering." I mumbled. Mom and dad jumped.

   "Il mio bambino you're awake! Your father has something to tell you." Mom pushed dad forward who sent her a poker face.

   "Lucian, your mother and I... we think it may be best if you leave."

   "Leave? You mean like move out the house? No problem. Yvette will-"

   "No. Leave like in out of the country. We're sending you to New England." Mom said. That hit me like a ton of bricks.

   "New England?! Why do I have to leave?!" I shouted.

   "Lucian I don't want you to go, but they will be back. I need you safe and out of harms way." Dad spoke calmly.

   "I can handle myself!"

   "No you cannot! Those are skilled vampires. Far too skilled for you. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to you." Dad argued.

   "What about Yvette-"

   "Yvette will have to learn to deal with it. She was not the target. She was bait. They poisoned her because they knew you would not be at school, where you were safe."

   "Mom you made a protection boundary once. Can't you do it again?"

   "They were able to break it Lucian. Figlio mio, mi dispiace." Mom whispered. She stroked my cheek.

   "I'm sorry too." I pushed past them.

   "Lucian!" Dad yelled.

   "What?"

   "Understand that we're trying to do what is right. You think I want to send my only son away? If I could I would fight them, but I can't. Do this for us Lucan. Go to England, and when the threat is over, you can come home."

   I know this was hurting my parents more than this was hurting me. I was their pride and joy, so the fact that they have to ship me to another country, it has to be killing them.

   "Who is going to be watching me?"

   "Our allies. They helped us years ago when I was kidnapped. They're very kind people." Mom said.

   I can't believe that I'm moving. I don't know these people, but now I'm trusting them with my life. That's so screwed up.

   "Get some sleep. You leave tomorrow."

Aw! Lucian is moving! I kinda wanted him to stay, but if he did, he would die. Omg who has had the crunch wrap burritos from Taco Bell? I LOVE those lol
