As Morel counted down from ten, a grin made it's way onto Aurora's lips gracefully as she nearly leapt up in joy. She was ecstatic, feeling such a powerful aura from such a familiar person .. Grandpa Zeno was here. As they stepped through the door, she nearly shivered at Zeno Zoldyck's Nen. His Dragon Dive attack was what gave her some creativity to her spectral arrow attack, narrowly mimicking his to a certain degree.
Another attack from above had nearly made her gasp. It was overwhelming, outclassing Grandpa Zoldyck himself. It was the old chairman that she was weary of. He was downright just showing off at the point as she chuckled to herself. Well, that just meant she couldn't made a fool of herself now, considering they both knew she and Killua were here.
They each leapt out of the portal by the stairway while the royal guard sitting there was distracted for a mere second until he caught sight of them. One second in and the plan had already screwed them over like expected.
Youpi's body began to transmutate itself. He grew six arms, his eyes became red and bloodshot. "I am a shield. I will protect the king with my body."
As Shoot got into a battle stance was surprised them most was when golden arrows began to rain down from the ceiling. Aurora blew a low whistle as she grinned. "Grandpa Zeno's out classed himself this time. I would have expected Neferpitou to block at least half of these." Aurora said aloud as Killua snapped his head toward her at the mention of his grandfather.
"Grandpa?! He was here?!" Killua barked as she nodded. "I felt his Dragon Dive right before we leapt in. The old geezer is here too." While they were too distracted with that. Gon began running toward Youpi. Aurora snapped her head backward and nearly mumbled curses. His emotion and desperation were overtaking his mind.
Gon ran up the stairs. Worse comes to worse if Meloron and Knuckle, who were under God's Accomplice's invisibility, if they were struck by one of Grandpa Zoldyck's arrows, they were either bleeding out and the invisibility faded, or they were dead and the invisibility was still on them. The third option could be that they were fine.
As Gon was getting closer to Youpi, there was no need since a sudden blow landed on the Chimera's abdomen. Signalling that Knuckle and Meloron were still alive. That saved them plenty of trouble and time. It left an opening for Shoot, Killua, Gon and Aurora to continue racing upwards.
Of course, time was of the essence however, as of now ... It seemed to be moving extremely slow. Or perhaps it was because their enemy was moving faster than them. In a single swing, destroying the stairway, debris flew everywhere, giving them a cover of smoke. The trio nodded to each other as they changed direction.
They planned to jump from the east tower's second floor to the central tower's third floor, where the throne room resided. As they landed on the floor, they passed Ikalgo who darted to the elevator. Gon kept running while Killua and Aurora skidded to a stop. There were two Chimera Ants where Ikalgo was headed.
