so, um. what exactly is this?

i don't know what to make of this story.

it took me by surprise. i swear, it did.

i'll be honest, when philophobia finished, i didn't want it to end either. i was in love with the characters, too close to them that i really didn't want to part with them. i'm guessing some of you felt that way too. so i did what any other author would do. i racked my brain for something else to tell.

the idea for philia was a simple one: tell byul's past. we all know by now that byul had a dark past, which affected her greatly. i think it's time for all of us (yes, including me) to understand her past better, to understand what really happened.

a little warning. actually, a big one. philia will be darker than philophobia. at least, i intended it to be. i doubt it would be too disturbing too read, as this series isn't meant to be told in a dark way. i do have a knack for dark themes, but i also don't like disturbing things.

and so, my readers, i give you philia.

swearing

death

mental health issues

drinking and smoking

any form of mental health issues is not glorified or romanticized in any way.

the protagonist's thoughts aren't mine, their choices aren't mine, and even if i am the one who wrote them, by no means am i encouraging the behavior.

if you are uncomfortable and would like to stop reading midway i have absolutely no problem with it. i'd rather have my readers safe than forcing them to read something they're not comfortable with.
