We fell off the cliff and I braced myself for the impact that was about to come. I felt someone grab my arm and pull me towards them. I looked up to see Bakugo pulling me into his chest as he blasted us up to lessen the fall. He blasted us until we semi gently landed on the ground. I thanked him gratefully. "Don't mention it." He said gruffly, brushing off my gratitude.

"Since it's private land, you can use your quirks as you wish! You have three hours! Come to the facility on your own two feet! After getting through... The Beast's Forest!" One of the cat ladies shouted down to us.

The students gasped and turned towards the forest. Just great, we'll be fighting our way through this forest on empty stomachs.

It only took about two minutes before a beast appeared before us. I watched in awe as the students worked together so seamlessly without even talking to take down the monster. Everything was going by so fast with this group, they sprung into action immediately. I lagged behind the group, mainly because my quirks aren't meant for this type of combat. The class traveled together and took down numerous beasts, seemingly with ease. I was able to help out a few times by being bait but that was it for me, I couldn't do much more. We finally arrived at the facility around five and everyone was completely exhausted and most of the students were feeling the negative effects of their quirks seeing as most of the students were running on fumes. Even I was tired after all that running around and dodging.

"Oh, you're finally here, meow!" One of the pussycats exclaimed as she saw us.

"What do you mean, three hours?!" Sato exclaimed, still winded from the exertion.

"That's the time it would've taken us, sorry!" The pro-hero replied.

This only further irritated me. Of course it would've been quicker for them, they've been fighting professionally for years! Stupid cats.

"You were trying to boast about how much better you are?" Sato asked incredulously. "That's mean."

"I'm hungry... I'm gonna die." Kirishima complained.

I felt my stomach growl at his words, reminding me exactly how hungry I really was.

The blonde cat laughed. "But honestly, I thought it would've taken even longer. You guys didn't have as hard a time beating my earth beasts as I thought you would. You guys are great... Especially... You four!" I smiled as she pointed towards Bakugo, Todoroki, Deku, and iida. I was happy that Bakugo was receiving praise for his hard work, he really is amazing.

"Were you able to act without hesitation because of your experience?" She questioned and licked her lips. "I'm looking forward to where you'll be in three years! I call dibs!" She flitted back and forth between them like a pinball.

I grimaced at her actions, it was gross to see her straight up sexualize them. FIRST YEAR high school students, for gods sake!

"Wh-what are you?!" Iida blurted out as she hovered around them obsessively, observing them all.

"Stop that! Get away!" Bakugo shouted angrily. I had to bite my cheek and turned my head away to keep myself from saying anything disrespectful or out of line, even though she was being totally creepy.

"Mandalay... was she always like that?" Aizawa sensei asked the brunette, pointing towards the blonde.

"She's a little desperate, since she's about the suitable age for, you know..."

"Speaking of "suitable age" Deku started before being cut off by the blonde as she covered his face aggressively with her paw.
"What about it?" She asked threateningly.

"I-It's been bothering me for awhile... Who's child is that?" Deku asked nervously, pointing at the child. He couldn't have been older than 9.

"Oh, not one of ours. He's my cousin's kid."
Mandalay answered. "Come on, Kota. Greet everyone. You'll be with them for the next week." She told him but he just stayed silent, looking at us angrily.

"Oh, um, I'm Midoriya from U.A. High School's hero course. Nice to meet you." Deku said, walking up to the kid and extending his hand to greet him. Instead of returning the gesture, he punched Deku in the balls. I couldn't help but burst out laughing as Iida rushed over to his side. There was some shouting from them but I couldn't quite hear over my own laughter.

"Precious brat." Bakugo commented, which furthered my amusement.

"Isn't he kind of like you?" Todoroki said.

"What? Not at all! Anyway, shut up, you bastard!" Bakugo yelled at him. Todoroki apologized even though he definitely didn't actually care. I smirked and walked over placing my hand on his shoulder. "No way dude, he is almost exactly like you."

"Shut up you dweeb!" He shouted at me and angrily shrugged my hand off his shoulder, making me chuckle.

Aizawa told us to get our things and get our rooms situated before we can eat dinner in the cafeteria.

I walked alongside Bakugo to the bus to grab our things.

"How're your arms? You fought really hard." I asked him.

"Fine." He replied bluntly but I could see his fingers twitch instinctively. I rolled my eyes but didn't press the issue.

Everyone was so hungry that they just tossed their bags wherever before rushing off to the cafeteria.

"Wait, Bakugo..." I said, grabbing his forearm as he turned away to join everyone in the cafeteria. He flinched in pain and I let go immediately. "See, I knew you hurt yourself!" I said disapprovingly.
"I'm just sore." He shot back. I ignored his comment and ordered him to sit. He begrudgingly listened to me and sat on the floor with an irritated sigh. I took a seat in front of him and he extended his arms towards me. We sat in silence as I began to heal his wounds. I looked him over when I finished with his arms, scanning for any other injuries. He had a few scrapes on his body which I healed up quickly.

"Can we go now?" He ask in an annoyed tone. I clicked my touch in my own annoyance.
"No, I'm not finished." I said sternly. He only had a few left on his face and neck. They were just shallow scraps but I wanted to heal them all. I cupped my hands around his neck and we both had grown a bit red. We sat on the floor looking at each other, neither of us moving to leave. "You know, it's okay to ask for help. Pro-heroes will ask for help when they need it. It doesn't make you weak, it makes you smart." I smiled in an attempt to reassure him.
"I know that." He crossed his arms over his chest defensively.

'You know that yet you won't do it' I said in my head. I stood up after having healed all his wounds. I smiled and outstretched my hand towards him. "Come on, I'm starved." He took my hand and I pulled him to his feet.

Everyone else was already in the cafeteria by the time we arrived, scarfing down their food. My mouth watered at the sight of all the food, it looked so good.

We took our seats near the rest of our friends. I watched Kirishima and Kaminari shovel rice down their throats with a bemused smile as I filled my plate with the food set out before us. It was heavenly. There wasn't much talking during dinner, everyone too preoccupied with sedating their intense hunger.

"Man, I'm unreasonably tired and totally stuffed." I said as we walked back to our room. My eyelids were already drooping from drowsiness. "Same here man, I'm gonna pass out right away." Kirishima said. I stopped Bakugo before we stepped into the room with everyone else. "How are your arms?" I grabbed his forearms to inspect them, tentatively squeezing the previously injured areas. "Better now, thanks." A light blush crept its way onto his cheeks. I smiled, amused by this. I let go of his arms and went to go sleep with the rest of 1-A, Bakugo following closely behind.

I lay on my sleeping bag with my arms folded behind my head. This school year has been absolutely insane. Who would've thought I'd be training in UA's hero course. I fell asleep with a smile on my face, thinking of all the new friends I've made along with reuniting with my childhood best friend.
