Thanks to the extra twigs and dried leaves that Loki gathered around noontime, we did not have collect anymore. I lit two match sticks and waited for the kindling to catch fire. We added some firewood so the flickering flame would stay much longer.
Nang sumasayaw na ang matingkad na apoy, Alistair carefully put the frying pan on top of the stones. Si Jamie ang nag-volunteer na magluto ng itlog at hotdog. We only used half of the tray of eggs dahil kailangan pa naming magluto bukas ng umaga. May tira pa kaming kanin kaninang tanghalian kaya 'yon na rin ang kakainin namin ngayong gabi.
It looked like the other teams were also busy with their dinner preparations. Wala kaming na-sense na sikretong nakamasid sa amin sa mga bush. Lumubog na rin ang araw at mahirap nang makakita sa dilim. If they used a flashlight, we would immediately notice their presence. They could try crawling in the dark, but good luck to them if they did.
Nakapalibot kaming umupo sa campfire habang kumakain ng hapunan. We added more wood to the fire. The flame grew bigger and burnt brighter, driving the darkness away from our camp. Sa hindi kalayuan, may napansin din kaming liwanag. That must be the camp of the Sewing Club. Sila ang pinakamalapit sa amin.
"So why don't we do some sharing?" Jamie asked as soon as she's done eating. "Wala rin tayong gagawin, 'di ba? Bakit 'di natin sulitin ang moment na 'to?"
"Shouldn't we be strategizing on how to win the game?" Loki asked. Kaunti lang ang kanin na kinain niya. "You miserably blew the chance of stealing the enemy team's flag. Or we can vote out someone who might be the traitor among us."
"We can talk about strategies tomorrow morning," Alistair told him. Ibinaba niya sa kanyang paanan ang walang laman na paper plate. "Wala rin tayong magagawa dahil kumagat na ang dilim. Jamie's suggestion is good to pass the time."

Well, we could vote for Rye since he's the newest and the most suspicious kahit na binigyan niya kami ng flag. But if his intention was to help our team win and we still chose to send him to detention, we might be losing an advantage in tomorrow's continuation of the game.
"If I were the traitor, hindi ko na itutuloy ang pantatraydor," nakangiting sabi ni Jamie. She drank from her water canteen and wiped her mouth with her hand. "We're already ahead in the game kaya bakit pa, 'di ba? I'd be a fool kung ngayon ako lilipat ng team."
