Two - the first time

As soon as their eyes locked ,
Tom felt a feeling of satisfaction as he finally met the eyes he's been longing for.
Y/n felt a feeling she never felt before, those dark eyes of him were hypnotic almost addicting.
But of course , none of them will ever admit it.

Y/n's pov
Before I could even face back my book, he felt my stare and reciprocated it.
As soon as I met those dark brown eyes , I felt like I would never get tired of them. In years of knowing him I've never acknowledged how beautiful his eyes were.

Y/n what are you saying!
yes he may have changed physically , but he's still the same egoistic,cold and mysterious Tom Riddle you know.

After what felt like an eternity we broke the eye contact.
I faced my book again and he went to find a table.

'Y/n what was that' says Abby with amusement in her voice

'What' I reply unbothered

'The sexual tentionnn!' Whisper yells the brunette girl

'You may also use a megaphone to tell everyone ' you reply kinda teased
'And no, there wasn't any, I don't know what you're talking about.' I continued.

'Pfff you just don't what to admit it' she bestfriend insists

'I don't have anything to admit'

'Whatever, I just know that you two would make an amazing couple' she says wiggling her eyebrows

'Believe what you want' I reply rolling my eyes. 'Shall we have a lil walk?' I said closing the book and standing up as I put it in my bag.
'Why not' she replies coping my moves.

Tom's pov

There she was,
I didn't see her for a long time, not that I really care, it's just unusual.

I pick a potion book before sitting on a free spot .

This summer break was a nightmare.
Me and my parents had a little conflict.
They want me to marry a pureblood witch , this is not really the problem, but they wanted me to date and then marry  Lea Rivers (a/n I totally just invented this character)
She may be a pureblood, but she's freaking annoying. She's been obsessing  over me since third year and I just can't stand her!
So I came up with an excuse, I told them that I already had a pureblood girlfriend. They believed me,but I clearly don't have a girlfriend ...yet

You'll think about it another time tom, concentrate on potions.

I push off my thoughts as I continue on reading and writing some notes on the parchment paper I brought with me.

Y/n's pov

As we were walking through Hogwarts corridors I thought of how much I missed this place , how its warm walls embrace you during cold nights and how cold the bare stone feels during summer.

'You still haven't told me about your summer tho!' I say pushing lightly Abby's arm with my elbow

'Ahh, there isn't much to say..hmm
I binge watched a few Netflix shows, stayed up aaall night reading books and magazines, ate a loooooottt of good food and my aunt from Italy brought me a few snacks' she replies with excitement .

Her always joyful mood brings an aura around her that no one can break
You can't stay mad at her for more than an hour, she always knows how to make you laugh and brighten your day. I am so grateful of her,my only friend.

'And you said there wasn't much to say!!' You both start chuckle

'Imma head back to my dorm, its almost curfew. What about you?' The brunette girl declares looking at you

'I'm going to my dorm too, see you tomorrow morning! Goodnight best!'

'Goodnight y/n/n!!' ( your nickname)

I head to the dungeons , as I get in front of the portrait I murmur the password and enter the common room.
It's still too early to sleep, I'm gonna read for a while

I sit in the couch , as I feel the light heat from the cracking fire in front of me, I get my book and open it to where I stopped reading.
As I read a few pages I hear the portrait open , only to reveal Tom.

I pretend that I didn't notice him and I continue on reading

'Y/l' he says coldly .

His voice startled me, I didn't expect him to acknowledge my presence

'Riddle' I say looking at him

He gives a small nod and head to his room

This is the first time we ever spoke to each other

A/n: this chapter is a lil short, but I hope you like itt. I also hope that at least someone will read this book HAHAH
