Y/n's pov
It was 10:55 pm so I got out of my dorm , we don't wanna be late right?, tiptoeing to not wake up my roommates .
As I was in front of tom's dorm room I gently knocked .

'Come in' I hear tom saying from the other side of the door

I entered his room and I saw him sitting in his desk , looking frustrated, with his hand on his forehead .
As I draw nearer I see that he has a clean piece of parchment in front of him and a letter.

'Here, read it' he said handing me it
I sat on his bed and read it, it was the letter from his parents.

'Omg can I help you write the letter???' I say looking at him

'Um yes' he said hesitant

I got the chair that was in the corner of the room and sat beside him

' okay write like: her name is y/n y/l , I'm sure you already know her. She's very beautiful and bright, I'm sure you'll love her just as I do' I said gaining a look from the boy beside me

' what the fuck' he said letting go a small chuckle

'Whaat? What do you wanna write then?' I say cocking one eyebrow

'I was thinking like: her name is y/n y/l, I'm sure you already know her. Sh-'

'That's literally what I just said!'

'Let me finish' he said rolling his eyes

' She's pretty a-' he continues but I interrupt him

' I know i'm pretty' I said with a smirk

' will you ever let me finish?? ,so I was saying. She's pretty average , I don't really know what I am dating her' he said

' bitchh' I said giving him this face

'You better do if you want to marry Rivers' I hissed rolling my eyes.

' and I don't want to, so I'm afraid I have to write something similar to what you said' he said as he dipped the quill in the ink

' no, you're gonna write what I said'
I declared folding my arms

' you do not give me orders.' He hissed irritated looking at me

Damn He looks good with his jaw clenched , I should irritate him more often.

'YoU Do nOt GivE mE OrDeRs' I mocked under my breath and looking away

What a pity he didn't hear me

He wrote for a few minutes in his perfect calligraphy
I could never, mines sucks.

'Okay done' he said as he folded the letter. ' I'll send it tomorrow' he continued

' okay now let's get into the details, they'll want to meet you , as you already know, probably during the winter break.. I'm sure they'll talk with your parents as soon as they'll receive my letter.' He started saying

I was just looking at him, or rather admiring , listening .

'You will have to act like you always did with them, not like you do here' he continued

'Huh I'm an expert in that, even tho I fucking hate it.' I said resting my elbow on the table and my chin on my hand.

A Quick Tom's pov

She looks rather cute like that, I should talk about things she hates more often

Back to Y/n's pov

'We have to be prepared, you know.. if they ask something about us' I stated

Saying the last word make me feel weird

' you're right' he said

' I'm always right' I replied with a little smirk

'Whatever, do you have any ideas?' He asked

' let's say we started dating at the end of fifth year?' I proposed

'No, let's say at the beginning of fourth year' he dared to contradict me

' nooo I was ugly in fourth year'

' so? You still are it's not a big deal'

' TOMM!' I shouted,not too loud, as I hit his arm, He just started laughing

I didn't know that Tom Riddle could laugh LMAO

'Like you are any better' I said crossing my arms

' I am' he simply said

Where's the lie tho

'Believe what you want. If they ask us who asked out who?where was our first date? What do we say?' I asked

' you asked me out. Picnic by the lake'

Woah that date idea it's literally my ideal date.. WAIT WHAT DID HE SAY AT THE BEGINNING??

' No! YOU asked me out' I said after realising what he said

' fine, at least I can sound like a gentleman' he said

' at least' I murmured

' okay our little meeting it's concluded' he announced

Wait what time is it? WTF ITS ALMOST 1 AM

' I better get going , it's late' I said as I got up and walked towards the door, but before I could walk out ..

' Goodnight y/l' said softly tom looking at me

I turned around and met his gaze
'Goodnight Riddle' I said giving a small smile and walking out

I arrived my at my dorm and jumped into my bed, I slept feeling at ease .
