CHAPTER 8 [1/2]: WHAT I DIDN'T KNOW

Then the night have rise. It's 8pm already and Choerry haven't stop watching the drama since they got home. The drama called Record Of Youth. She didn't even check her phone to see the times while Olivia was sitting beside her on the couch with a feeling of being force to watch it. The black hair just tired and want to lie down on a bed but since the purple didn't even move her eyes from the television screen make it more like she's not thinking the same thing, so she just sit there, accompanying Choerry as she would say. Then the drama have reach the end,

"Wooo! What a long ride. It's already episode 8!? I need to take a break." Choerry finally speak after that long hours and both of them stretch their body because of sitting to long on the couch. Then Choerry look at the clock,

"It's already 8pm?!" She can't believe that she just spent all of her times, watching a drama. Olivia who sit beside her just listen to her disbelief thoughts,

"Why didn't you tell me to take a break?" Choerry blame the girl in a joke way and Olivia scoff after heard it,

"Are you kidding me?! Ok, I've told you like a thousand times to stop but you insisted to watch it so you try to blame it on me about it?!" She raise her one eyebrows and roll her eyes. Choerry was a bit offended by it but she still want to tease the girl,

"You did?"

Olivia look at her in disbelief and Choerry continue,

"Maybe I was a bit into the drama." Then Olivia rephrase that,

"A bit?! You really have a serious problem." She roll her eyes and Choerry just give a giggle for that.

After a few minutes, Choerry notice something,

"Are my parents home yet?" She look at Olivia with her innocent face and Olivia widened her eyes as in surpriseness,

"Look! You didn't even realised that your parents just came home like 1 hour ago!" Olivia keep scolding the girl because the purple act irresponsible about what happened around her. Then Choerry ask for confirmation,

"They did?"

Olivia huff and just want this to be over so she say,

"No, they didn't come home yet." She lean back on the couch and sigh loudly while Choerry start to be worry a bit. The purple check her phone to see if there's any messages from her mom or her dad but there's none,

"Weird." Choerry frown. Olivia who just heard it, curious of what she mean by it,

"What do you mean?" She give a glance while still leaning on the couch. Then Choerry answer,

"My parents usually tell me if they gonna be home late. They always tell me. They didn't miss it but this time, there's no messages from them." Olivia lift her body and look at Choerry who's her eyes trembling. Then Choerry dial her mom's phone number.

After a few seconds, a generator talk,

"The number you have dialed, cannot be reach at the moment, please-"

Choerry hang up and try calling her dad but It's the same generator talking. Choerry start to feel anxious and her heart beating so fast. Choerry look at Olivia with her trembling eyes,

"Why didn't they picked up, Olivia? They always pick up my calls. They never miss my calls even if they busy. What happened?" Choerry talk fast as if she's rushing about something or really anxious. Olivia just look at the girl, don't know what to do or answer back. After no answer from Olivia, Choerry get up from the couch and start to walk around the house.
