The great hall.
Damon sits as far as possible from a smirking Kol. It's not that he was scared of the little asshole but he carries a freaking bat and he's a vampire!
He's not about to get his ass beat by a baseball bat.
Damon looks up when he feels someone's gaze. Damon's eyes meet Rebekah Mikaelsons.
She was vampire Barbie. The youngest of the Mikaelson clan, she loves falling in love. Damon and Rebekah almost slept together but Elena walked in on them.

Hogwarts Headmaster, Dumbledore, a wizzened old man with a great white beard to his belt and long white hair, stands to address the school.
"I beg a few moments of your attention, as I have a few start of term announcements. Right off, our caretaker, the good Mr. Filch, has reminded me for what he says is the four-hundred and sixty-second time that he had an annually updated list of various banned items, usually introduced by our humour experts Fred and George Weasley..." Dumbledore says
Fred and George stand and take a bow to cheering, laughter, and yells. Damon smirks in amusement.
They were adorable, Damon stiffens in his seat when he realizes his admission. No Damon! Bad Damon! They are hot and that's all the freaking compliments they will get!
"...which are posted in an extensive list on the door to Mr. Filch's door." Dumbledore says
Harry grins at Fred and George.
"Also, we have two staffing changes this year. Professor Grubby-Plank will be taking the post of Care of Magical Creatures post as Professor Hagrid is on...extended leave." Dumbledore says
Harry, Ron, and Hermione exchange glances.
"Additionally, we have Professor Umbridge, who has kindly agreed to fill the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts-" Dumbledore says
At this, Umbridge stands and clears her throat. "Hem, hem, Headmaster, if I could address the school?" Umbridge ask
Dumbledore looks taken aback. McGonogall glares at Umbridge. Dumbledore sits down and invites Umbridge forward.
Damon grimaces at all the pink, Damon suddenly realizes what she looked like. She looked like the bloody grinch.
Damon bites his lip to stop the sudden snort that was threatening to escape. He's going to ask the twins for a favor.
It's going to be worth the punishment if the plan works.
"Thank you, Headmaster. Now, how are we all doing tonight? I thought I would just say a few words. I am here at the Ministry of Magic's bequest, under Educational Decree twenty-two, which states that if the Headmaster of Hogwarts is unable to fill any teaching post the Ministry shall select one for the position." Umbridge says
Damon holds back a groan at the sound of her voice, Damon has never hated someone so much in his life. Not even Voldemort can piss him off like this bitch.
Dumbledore inclines his head. There is murmuring from the students.
"The Ministry has always considered the magical education of our children to be of vital importance, and the passing down of this ancient and noble art must be given to the next generation, lest it be lost forever...Without progress, stagnation. But progress for progress's sake is to be discouraged, for our art requires no tinkering. A balance must be attained, the new and the old, permanence and change, tradition and innovation, order and chaos. There are large changes coming soon, changes walking the fine line between order and chaos. Know only that these changes are for the best, and to prevent the destruction of our civilization from its own decay. Thank you." Umbridge says
Umbridge smiles at them all, but to Harry, the smile seems a little forced, a little fake.
Damon fake gags at Stefan. Stefan chuckles, feeling the same.
